I read that real freckles actually means you have a higher possibility of having skin cancer.
But yes.. freckles on young people = looks cute.

Interesting, I did not know this. I have a male Russian Blue now but he can hear us. He in fact acts like a dog and comes to us when we call him. He is like a real live stuffed animal.View attachment 104424

oh, I was talking about eyes.. not the breed.

Blue eyes + white fur = high chance for deafness. or something like that.
I'm definitively not cat expert.
I'm just expert in scratching and petting them!

I keep hearing on the radio and from co-workers how "humid" it's been out here and I just laugh to myself. They think 56% is humid!

I also laugh whenever the TV news runs "storm watch" stories and interview people about what they think of the rain. What a bunch of lightweights!

Here at noon, it's currently 95 with a heat index of 105.
It's supposed to get up to 102 with a heat index of 109.
But, currently, we have only 52% humidididididity...!

I haven't heard that! Now I'm not liking my own freckles very much.

OK, I had to do a quick online search and found this: "A recent sunburn or visit to a tanning bed could trigger the onset of new freckles. In fact, freckles that appear after a sunburn (“sunburn freckles”) have been associated with an increased risk of melanoma skin cancer. These are most often found on the chest and shoulders, and are larger and darker than the light brown freckles seen in childhood."

So I'm not as worried now.
