Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

No prob. That way, next time I spontaneously lash out at you over something silly, such as misspelling my user name, or mentioning thread alerts, you'll have this image as a reminder of how I appreciate the beautiful things in life. (And hopefully will give me more Likes in return).

I love you in a "you're hilarious" sort of way.

Raise your hand if you absolutely should not be driving today.

On a semi related note, I am wearing pants today.

Hello live feeders!!

I'm picturing you trying to drive today as something similar to that scene in The Wolf of Wall Street where Leo's drugs kick in and he has to crawl into the car.

:hilarious:

We had a terrific storm two nights ago, which brought down a huge limb from our backyard tree.
This has convinced me that the tree needs to come down, sooner rather later.

Five years ago, we had a professional tree service come out, trim the tree, remove all branches touching the house, and cut out all the dead and dying limbs. At the time, the guy told us that the tree was certainly in its final phase of life - maybe 5-10 more years, after which it would need to come down.

It's a 40' tall, 40 year old maple, and while I would be sad to see it go, I'm even more sad about the $3000+ it will cost to remove.

Time to start convincing Hubby that it needs to go. Sadly, I can't remember if the tree guy said removal in the spring or fall was better. Either way, it will have to be spring, 'cause that's when I have a spare couple of grand.
You could wait until a storm takes it down and then it will be covered by insurance. :)

A number of years ago the Northeast got hit by a massive ice storm. Many trees were lost, plus power, plus many of those iron high voltage poles and lines in Canada. We were inundated with tree removal people from down south going from house to house drumming up business. They spotted one that appeared to be leaning toward the house (actually, it had been since the house was built) so they stopped in and told me that it would cost $300.00 to take it down and I had better do it soon or it is going to hit the house. My reply was... well, let's see. It is headed toward a carport where I park my beater-mobile worth next to nothing, the garage containing my car that had a fully covered insurance policy attached to it and perhaps a corner of the roof which needed new shingles. So the best bet for me is to wait until it does fall so I can get new vehicles, and a new roof for my $500.00 deductible. I'll pass. To my knowledge (I did see the house last year) that tree is still there at the same angle it was at the time.
That's just silly.
Nobody eats PBJ&T. (Ripe or otherwise.)

Never say nobody. There is nothing better then PB and Strawberry Preserves with a fresh sliced tomato in it. My kids looked at me like I had three heads the first time they saw me eat one, but, eventually got them to try it and they loved it and still do.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

You realize of course, that I've not seen The Wolf of Wall Street, but yeah, probably just like that.
There's a reason that I seldom take anything stronger than a single regular strength Advil.

My friend, you go ahead and make a PBJ & T sandwich, post pics of you actually eating it, and I will amend my statement ....
... to no SANE person eats PBJ & T sandwiches.

There's really only one response to this.

Oh my gosh, I am so spaced out already, but it's time for 2 more Benadryl and a Calamine lotion dip.
Probably should put the phone away for a while, lest I post things more foolish than usual.

This is why I don't drink. I can't stand having a fuzzy head. Or seeing double. Or having sitting up bed spins.

I'm the same way. I'm don't respond well to being loopy.
