The salad looks too skimpy to me!

The problem with the salad was the slightly chemically (sulphate?) taste of the lettuce. Common in the winter, but zero excuse for it in the middle of summer.
Again not bad; just the weakest part of the meal.

I'm a "dressing on the side dip the tip of my fork in before I spear the lettuce" kind of gal. I'd rather have a salad with no dressing and just salt and pepper than too much dressing.

For me, the salad was the weakest part of a delicious meal. Not bad per se, just not a home run.

Outstanding! Sadly, I ate less than half.

Hubby ordered the same, but paid $3 upcharge for the lobster mac and cheese. If I were the type to OMG, then that mac and cheese would have definitely warranted one! He ate it all, in case you were wondering.

We ordered dessert to go. Can't bear to even look at it long enough to unpack it, let alone photograph it.
One banana pudding something or other, and one creme brûlée, in honour of the day. You'll have to just take my word for it.

Tonight my manager was putting Harvest/Thanksgiving items out on the shelves. I asked him when Christmas stuff goes out, and he says we start with Christmas stuff the second week of September. We have a small selection of Halloween candy out right now, with more to come within the next few weeks. Fall clothes are starting to be put out, along with fall and winter hunting gear. Retail never lets you forget what seasons are coming up within the next half of the year!

That's actually only a few miles from where we were yesterday. I'm sure the torrential rains we drove through cleaned it up though.

Both of my kids learned to drive on a golf cart.

That's actually the only thing I missed when we sold our trailer.
Hubby and I used to take an evening tour through the park every night before settling in for our campfire.

I learned to drive in Tomorrowland. It was a successful run only if we didn't ever hit the center track.
