Warning: Idiotic move of the morning --

For breakfast, I'll usually have a small container of plain yogurt. If the Fage brand (which is the most expensive in my area) is on sale, I'll buy those--otherwise, I'll just get the store's, cheaper, generic brand.

Sitting here in a dark room early in the morning, with just the light from the computer screen, I went to open up the yogurt. I thought I had taken one of the Fage brand ones from the frig; so while focusing on the screen, I removed the foil top and proceeded to grab the inner paper lining from the top of the yogurt. Instead of the paper liner, I pulled out two yogurt covered fingers! I had taken out the generic brand (cheap for a reason--no paper cover inside)! :banghead:

Warning: Skeeve alert of the morning --

I still ate it! :hilarious:

Naw, that's not skeevey. Maybe if the yogurt spilled onto the floor and you licked it up. :hungover:

I'm glad your kids turned out well and I'm grateful my kids are doing well (knock on wood). But, and this is only my opinion, I feel that as parents we have so little control over whether are kids make good choices and how they ultimately turn out. For me, it's by the grace of God that my kids are doing well. We can try to give our kids everything we think they need and they still can go down and unfortunate path and vice versa. Again, just my opinion.

What you said is true to a point. My parents were wonderful parents to the 4 of us kids growing up. One of my brothers turned into a wild guy, and eventually got kicked out of the house. Took him a good 6-8 years to straighten out his life after that. It was nothing my parents did to cause his bad behavior; I blame him. He had multiple opportunities; he blew it. (I used to tell my mother, "Hey, three out of four ain't bad!" ;)) Anyway, that was a long time ago.

I have a hunch that you're a wonderful parent, (just like my own mother and father were). Sure, maybe part of the fact that your kids are doing well, may have a bit to do with the grace of God, as you stated. However, I think your influence has played a larger part in their successes, and contributions to society. :)

"Mistake? What Mistake?" as you clean your fingers and leave the empty yogurt package in the trash? :hilarious:

And that was I was referring to: that kids choose their paths independent of their parents.
