Can someone tell people to stay home. OMG the traffic! I drove through Providence for four years and it wasn't this bad. Maybe it's the earthquakes fault. :banghead: And I'm nowhere near the city. Well, technically the town I work in is called a city but it only has 25,000 people, smaller than my town.

Problem solved! :D

That would be awesome. I always loved watching the Jetsons. It was my favorite non-Disney cartoon show.

I loved Astro! (Of course--he was the family's dog!!) :joyfull:

The show was so much fun. I liked how George Jetson would hop in his Aerocar, and off he'd fly every morning to his job at Spacely Sprockets. I used to think that I'd even like my job if I could fly in an Aerocar like his! :joyfull:

Not to steal Moxo's sunset thunder, but I absolutely had to share this pic from Tikiman's FB page:

Tikiman has a wealth of information about the Poly. I used to read his site years ago when I loved that resort, before all the changes WDW made (lobby, bungalows, etc.). I always considered him the # 1 authority on the resort. Spent many pleasant times reading his web site.

I just follow him on Facebook.
Lovely pics on the daily, and timely updates.

Welcome back! :) Take your time posting your TR. I'll keep an eye out on the TR forum to watch for yours in due course. You just relax for now. Good things are worth waiting for.

Thanks! Even though I'm sad about no more WDW and my vacation time is almost over, I'm happy to be home where there's more "space to breathe", in spite of this morning's feud. I'll be sure to alert all of you when I post my TR, although it won't be as entertaining as Buddy's. Now THAT was a TR! :p

We only checked out a few stores - Lego was absolutely insane! Then we stopped at LittleMisMatched and gawked at the prices. Final stop was Goofy's Candy Company where I got to use up more snack credits for souvenirs - woohoo!

We had dinner at Fulton's, which was pretty good. We both ordered the Maine Lobster Boil, since we had the Deluxe DP. So…Much…Food…But I ate it all, plus my husband's clams & mussels (they were pretty small, though). I'll post pics in my TR.
Yummy and I can't wait for more pictures, and TR when convenient.;)

I'm glad that you are back too. I would love to do a chit chat trip. That would be so much fun, especially during food and wine.:D
Our past four trips have been during F & W.
After last year, Hubby said, "Never again".

Over the years, things have just become rowdier and more crowded, and far less pleasant.

I am really looking forward to enjoying World Showcase this year without battling the ridiculous crowds. And the drunks.

Heh, heh . . . I loved Buddy's trip report; he is so funny! :hilarious:

But everyone's TR is interesting, because each person has his/her own unique slant on the attractions, food, crowds, travel, etc. I wouldn't want to read the same type of report from everyone, as that would be boring. And, by reading what others have experienced, opens up a whole new world to myself and others; there may be hidden treasures that we may have missed--until reading someone else's TR, you know? ;)

True, crowds and drunks definitely no fun. We can plan for a less busy time of year - I'm open to suggestions! :cat:

Jennifer, you might like the Flower and Garden Festival in the spring. It's a bit more of a genteel crowd. There's not nearly as much focus on booze. I love the F&G Festival; the flowers, topiaries, exotic gardens, etc. are gorgeous. Epcot gets really decked out each spring for this.

We did F&G and it is so pretty. Just not as much food. I agree, there is less emphasis on drinking. It's older crowd too.
