ohhh.. what did you get?
Lenovo G50, I had to use my mother's computer for the next 4 months and with my Lenovo Tablet. Since my previous Laptop one day crashed and we couldn't get it fixed. Thankfully I got it just in time for my first year in a community College. I'm planning on taking the Disney Dreamers Academy when I complete community college and when I head to a local college who does it. Especially after my third visit to WDW.

This might explain why I haven't been posting as often these especially during the night.

Just need to be careful.

Because sometimes the stores clerks DO abuse from clients who dont know anything about tech (and sell them stuff they never needed)
Thanks. My computer needs have always been minimal. My BS-detector finely tuned.

I've actually never bought a computer from Best Buy. I was just using them as an example most would recognize.

We've dealt with a small mom & pop store exclusively for the past 10 years or so. My cousin used to work there, and then a few years later when Hubby was working a gov't contract, he bought more than 100 desktop units from them. Out of fear of Mike, they would never take advantage of his wife. :joyfull:

Oh my. Sympathy like.
Been there, done that...3 times...! :D ;)
Considering I had two kids, I only had to do it once.

Son #1 decided at 19 months that he was done with diapers, refusing to wear anything except at night.
Zero daytime accidents, and only 3 overnight BM incidents from that day forward. He never even made it out of size 4 diapers, as he insisted on Pull-Ups for bedtime.

And before you think I'm brilliant ... Son #2 insisted on wearing them until he was 38 months! :banghead:

hang on.. didn't these guys close these "attractions"? I mean.. I heard they had awful accidents left and right.

I don't believe so. I have not been there in the summer only the winter. My folks had a condo up that way and I went to college out that way too and I skied Chestnut many a time in my younger days until I started going to Colorado to ski.

Now one year I was following a couple of kids down the mountain in Breckenridge.. They collided. I could hit them, hit a tree or go off run. Off run wound up being a bad choice too. It was a mini cliff. Now that was a bad accident that had me in a ski basket being brought down the mountain by ski patrol. Not exactly a smooth sled ride. Ahhhh my youthful days. o_O Didn't stop me, by spring break I was in Aspen. I really love Colorado. :inlove:

For a weather/heat update down here in the lovely south.. We had a heat advisory today from 10am-7pm because our heat indexes were going to be 108-110. Our actuall temps have been 95-98 for 8 days straight and no real end in sight for the next 10 days and may see real temps of 99/100 next week. Would not live anywheres else though! :coldfeet:

Oy. My goal is moving south. But ugh. I'd be hold up in my condo for that duration. We've had the highest dew points where people were permenently dropping like flies but that is unusual for us in the North. This week we are doing 85ish but finally the humidity and dew points are lower but promising to return by the weekend.

I keep telling myself it is practice for my goal of moving to the south, plus it is better than snow.

Sheesh dropping like flies and not even close to our scorching temps and dewpoints! Craziness but yall are not used to it up there like you said. I try to
Stay in the a/c especially during the daylight hours as much as possible. And Yes so much better than snow and freezing cold!! We get occasional rare snow occurrences in the winter but not enough to really accumlulate. lol :p
