I'm kind of stuck doing major travel in the summer because I'm a teacher and that is when I have time off. That is also when places jack up the prices because that is peak tourism season. September would be a fun time to go on vacation. Oh well, maybe when I retire...

Thats one of the things I'm thankful of my job. It gives me more freedom.
So as long there is internet, I can travel anywhere.

Same here. We have a bunny population that is exploding, my neighbor's garden is being over run. He bought a humane trap, and takes them to a near by park. Great neighbor , he is! (he has the rotty)

Just curious: if they are an issue (I don't know much about ground hogs, but we used to have them sometimes in our backyard when I was growing up), do you have a local animal control officer (we have those out here in the cities and towns), that you could report it to? Sometimes if a certain species becomes overpopulated, it can create various problems, and animal control can often intercede.

I live in the country. Animal control will only come out for something bigger (like coyotes) and then only if they are a threat to family or pets. Otherwise they let the critters alone. I could call in a pro removal but that's $70 EACH animal (skunks $125). The groundhogs are a nuisance and I've fallen in a hole so I've got live traps and will relocate them.

The bathroom remodel is getting put off a few weeks due to my dh's work. So my baby is at grandma's for the week. Due to my FIL's illness it's been a while since the boys could stay over. It's nice and quiet here. My chores are done, I've already done my workout, so I guess I'll have time to watch a few movies this week and get to the pool. I hope the pool is less crowded than yesterday, way too many kids for me (half the neighborhood has been at my house since school ley out and I love Disney in summer, I don't seem to mind them that way )

Yup, saw it on Saturday. Didn't care for Brave that much (it's okay, but there ae better Pixar movies, and definitely better princess movies) but excited to see what they do with her on Once. She's supposed to be a recurring character.

He looks so sad, and it looks like he has a sore on his back. Don't they have humane society's there? I always brought strays home with me, and if I couldn't find a home for them, I would take them to the no kill shelter out. The Max Fund....
