I have a silly question. I'm not sure if we should book a hotel for the ride north or just wing it. After checking out of the condo the plan is to stop at DTD and maybe the outlets, we have no clue how much if any time will be spent shopping. Do you think we should wing it? Book before going down? Or wait until a few days before we leave and get an idea of what we'll do? The first option will be the cheapest, but we'll either feel rushed or wind up at a hotel too far south. THNX
We don't drive to WDW but when we have done road trips that were longer (visiting family in Texas many times), we drove as far as we could and found a hotel around dinner time. Stopped for a nice meal and rest (maybe a swim) and continued on after checkout. Less stress on the drivers.

While I was gone, there was a hail storm here. Friends on Facebook were posting pictures of palm-sized hail, and more than one person we know lost their windshields to the hail. Thankfully, it didn't hit as badly where I live as it hit 10 minutes from us, and my car was 100% fine (we had our neighbor go check it)
I'm happy for your car! Hail dings are a pain to get out!

Palm sized??? You'll have to explain that to me. Palm tree, palm branches or palm of hand (which would vary in size from person to person)?
