Yep, all structures hafta' be flexible and give, to a point, otherwise failure would be the norm.
If I end up sitting in traffic on the bridge I hafta' cross to get to and from the office, and the traffic in the other direction is moving swiftly, I love the way the bridge feels as it flexes up and down. It's comforting to know it was engineered properly. ;) :)
Unlike the bridge in Mothman Prophecies. I think of that when I have to do long bridges. So scary!

We're staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for 4 nights, Kidani Village for 7 nights, and then final 4 nights a BLT. Plus I'll have 5 more days to "recover" afterward as I'm taking 3 weeks off from work - woohoo! :D

I'll be sure to post pics to help you get through your jet lag. :p
Thanks, from all of us who love to "live another vacation" through pictures. :D:D:D I would love to move from place to place, at Disney....you get lots of experiences that way.

Ha! I kept re-reading the first few sentences, Being Huh???? George Washington......duh.

That is such a cool experience. My Dad had Ronald sign my baby picture when he was still an actor outside Sears Tower. A fond memory for him. Me, when the Pope came to Chicago to say Mass. I was jaded already but still in awe of it all.

I met many politicians and celebrates while working at Ohare, but there is something about meeting them by happenstance that makes it that much better.
Hubby met Alan Alda, at the airport...hubby said to him "I didn't expect to see you here"....Alda turned and said to hubby " I didn't expect to see you here either"...lol

I liked this projection on the castle. My favorite is during Christmas when it looks like a gingerbread castle.
What??? But.. but, don't you realize that those projections block the view of the trees? You can see Castle projections anywhere, but, the only chance you get to see trees would be in the traffic circle at WDW. ;):grumpy:

I suppose it could also be the same movement that occurs just before it drops into the river. However, that may be just my peculiar way of thinking.:jawdrop:
Back then, who's didn't...?!!! ;) :)
My father owned a 1963 Buick LeSabre with the largest engine Buick made at the time. I think it was 440ci with a 4 barrel carb. I don't really remember exactly, but it was a BIG engine. Anyway, it got 7 miles per gallon. It could pass everything on the road except a gas station. It was also a bragging point in his circle of buddies back then. Of course, at the time "high test" gasoline, which it required was only about 30 cents per gallon.
He also hauled a 19' travel trailer with it when on vacation. At that point the mileage proudly dropped to just a little over 4 mpg's.
