New in the news.... Recent studies have determined that 66% of all woman are overweight. Just a thought but since a major majority are heavier then the small minority, wouldn't that mean that the standard of weight would be in the majority camp. In other words it is normal to be bigger and the small ones are just plain freaky?

I would love being called "freaky" never had that happen as a teenager. I was so straight laced, and skinny....back in the day....Went to college, all that changed, except for the freaky part. lol

Got to ask, what is tomato watch? I was so sheltered by Mom, I knew nothing for years...even our minister, said I was very uninformed; before hubby and I got married...and Mom was not as informative, as should have been.....from our minister!

Got to ask, what is tomato watch? I was so sheltered by Mom, I knew nothing for years...even our minister, said I was very uninformed; before hubby and I got married...and Mom was not as informative, as should have been.....from our minister!

I think it is something that is known only to him. I'm almost afraid to find out. I wasn't sheltered and I have never heard of it either, so don't feel bad about it.

No, she's mommy to our 2 boy kitties (out of 5 total, 3 went to other homes), plus we have 2 other cats and 2 dogs. It's a full house!

The next day LOL you had it easy I wouldn't have seen the next hour! Not to mention the threat of getting shipped off to a convent! And my kids think I'm strict! Maybe a little. I did say something to me ds when he didn't get a 100 average in a subject because I know he didn't study at all! I can be a bit of a tiger mom!

My sis got threatened with catholic all girls boarding school She pushed the envelope. And had verbal skills along with quick comebacks. Likely why she is a good attorney.

Sympathy like! I used to live close enough to Newark airport to hear the planes. My friend bought a house near Maquire AFB to watch the pretty planes. Very quiet neighborhood except for the planes!

I grew up a few miles from Ohare and we were across the street from a 3 track
Rail Crossing. I grew up with lots of noise.

Yep. Pixie dust got shot all over the room. When she was no longer blue we headed out and I grabbed a couple bottles of single serve bottles of wine to drink on bus.

Well my neighbors are home beyond rattled. They were in camper didn't get a siren until 2 minutes before tornado. The place is 2000 acres. 11 of 12 trees fell. Some on camper and both cars. One can come home other totaled as well as their camper.

Nobody physically hurt.

OMG . . . TWO MINUTES was their only warning??!!! I don't live in a tornado area but I had thought those sirens were supposed to be very very loud, and carry quite a distance. Also, it floors me that the sirens went off with only 2 minutes to spare . . . did this storm just sneak up without any sort of warning??
