After the semester you had you deserve it woman!
Oh, gosh, the semester...

This one should be better. If I get into the program again that lets me take Spanish at the other school, then I'll have one class there Mondays and Wednesdays, and then long days at my school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If I don't get in, no classes at all on Mondays and Wednesdays. So no more ridiculous commuting between three campuses on the same day. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be long, but I'm only between two campuses (start at main campus, move to second campus) and I've got a three hour gap for studying (or napping). And I've only got one section of a business course that's in class, and the other two are online, which means likely no group projects in those classes, and the in-class section is finance, so group projects are unlikely. My other two classes are gen eds, so they shouldn't be too bad. So pretty easy semester coming up (by comparison, that is).

Oddly enough, I had just assumed you got the beer in cans. I haven't a clue why I thought that. :D I don't drink beer, but I know it comes in cans and bottles, and I thought you were a can man! (Can man--did I just make up a name for a subgroup of men who drink beer out of cans here?) :p

Hahaaa...!
Although, I do prefer to drink my beer from glass, I'll drink it out of, almost, anything. Probably, even my Rollerblades...! ;)
Either way, have you ever seen a six-pack of unopened beer cans hit the pavement hard? It can definitely be much more spectacular than mere glass bottles shattering...!!! :joyfull: ;) :)

BTW...
I'm pretty sure Can Man appeared somewhere between Neanderthal Man and Encino Man...! :D

Had a lovely day chilling by the pool and on the beach. Did some shopping this morning. Bought gifts for friends back home, and some stuff for myself, including a new t-shirt. Going to dinner in a few. My dad lost his room key, so he went to the car to make sure he didn't leave it there. Then (hopefully he finds it) we'll head to Hard Rock for dinner. Yes, we are picking places we could easily do at home (Hard Rock is in the Inner Harbor; both PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory are even closer to us, but, ya know...probably will also do Outback at some point this trip.) And then some shopping after dinner.

Dunno what's up for tomorrow.

Thank goodness. I think we have all had semesters like that, they live on in our memories forever. My DD took multiple classes online which is annoying given the cost and her living on campus-defeats the purpose, but she too avoided those group projects that could only lower her GPA and mental stability.

And on a different subject: By the way, how is your hand holding up?

They are great, but Aulani's pool blows this place out of the water. Better than Stormalong Bay at WDW. Plus I'm looking forward to snorkeling in the lagoon. I'll be ready to get out of Honolulu and Waikiki and get to a more secluded part of the island (reminder: I live next to a farm. I'm not a city girl). But in the meantime, this is lovely.

Since we are DVC members, Aulani is actually cheaper for us, plus we'll have a kitchen and will make some meals in, so this is the splurging part of the vacation. :)

Why does that pun (intended or not) seem like deja vu to me...?! o_O :hilarious: ;) :)

I've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and I'm wearing sunglasses.

:hilarious:

A flashback to high school.

My sophomore year in high school we were ranked #1 high school in the nation. We were also rated as the school with the #1 drug issues. High achievers pulled out the stoned. Problem with growing up in a privileged area, it was a bit of the LA issues, some of those kids just had no parietal oversight. Me,<--------My folks would have never let me see the next day. Fear is a great deterrent.
