Best Time to Break on all day MK if staying at YC?

Planning to do a 8 am to 10 pm full day at MK on one of our days in October. Kids are 4, 5 and 7. The 4 & 5 year old only occasionally randomly nap, so no set schedule on that.

Whats the best time to break in the afternoon to get the most morning time, get a little rest in the room, and get back in time for the night activity?

Does this question make any sense?

(First time not staying on the monorail loop or fort wilderness, so not sure what the travel will be like from YC)

Before they get overly stimulated and completely worn out. You can do a lot in the mornings. Take a break at about 1-2PM and back again at 6PM.

Rent one of the Disney double strollers if you do not bring one. It will extend the time the kids can spend at park. Our grandson would nap right in stroller. Also a place to carry and store your baggage.

But I can't sleep in the stroller! Daddy needs rest too!

LOL! Yeah my kids would never nap in a stroller and I certainly couldn't nap in there either- although there were plenty of times I thought about trying :D

We'd stop for a break sometime between 1 and 3. So, my break time would often be determined by dinner. If dinner was around 6, we'd break closer to 1...around 8 and we'd break closer to 3. This way, everyone was refreshed for dinner and able to stay active until late evening.

I usually try to hit rope drop each morning and leave the parks around noon and return in the evening. Avoiding the busy, hot parks which can be exhausting if you stay during the afternoons. I'll hit the pool, nap or dtd during the afternoon.

My daughter usually naps between 12-1, so we would leave go at rope drop and leave at noon. Then we'd head back after she woke up, around 3-4 depending on when she fell asleep.

BC is our favorite resort which is similar to staying at YC. We find that both AK and HS aren't full day parks for us. So we go back to the pool after doing 1/2 days at one of those parks. Also maybe stopping at DTD in the morning than doing the pool is a good idea. Also doing a dining reservation at BC might make sense since stating at the pool a day. Beaches and cream for the kids perhaps.
