First of all, hugs to you and to your mom. I hope she continues to feel better, and I'm glad she didn't have a stroke. (With the stress everyone is under these days, I'm amazed we all don't have a massive group stroke!)

As for your sister putting a "claim" on some of your mother's possessions, while your dear mother was in the hospital, is just beyond my comprehension. That's just COLD-hearted.
I wonder if "Mother" will strike back and remove her from the will HAH!

I sleep in on vacation. I usually don't get up until 6am!:D:cool: Plenty of time to get up, get ready get the boys fed and make rope drop with time to spare. I'll feel sorry when you go to work full time. Hopefully you'll have a job where you can telecommute most days!

My DD now works second shift for the University she works for. She is a morning person. Been a struggle for her as she use to sleep 7-8 hours a night. Not happening. It is so odd for me to go to sleep when she works from home though and she is till up. Never happened before.

Our library is part of a large multi-county consortium so there is a wide variety of books, much more than if I was only using our local library. I love that they have pooled resource. Libraries are one of the best uses of tax money in my opinion! (Besides my public school teacher salary!)

I love our library system. We have access to two counties worth of books. Most of which I can have access to the next day. It is great for our schools too. When we need topical books the library will slurp them up from surrounding communities for the week the teachers need them. Great budget saver.

Me too, I love all doggies, we have a "little" boy next door, he runs when he see's me. Only problem, he is a Rotwiller. And weighs over 100 lbs. He can knock me over and lick the dickens out of my face. I love him, he has a great personality, and I met him when he first became our next door neighbor's "child", he was only 25 lbs. then. Now, I sit and let him come to me. Safer that way.:inlove::joyfull:

How fun. It is great to be loved like that. My Walt is pushing 100# of happy pup yet he is gentle giant being taller and longer than most labs. When he comes across a toddler or preschooler, he sits and lays down. He just seems to know they are babies.

That post is the best. I heard of people losing one sock in the washer. Not me. Freddy loved his socks..RIP, and Wiggles to follow , after RIP. About ten years ago. I'm good now, but I adopt every neighbor's dog. Mainly Niko, the Rotweiller.

Walt has bolted for the man across the street. He never leaves the property unless he is out. If Walt is looking out the front window and the man comes out Walt makes quite the fuss, he wants to go visit. He only runs a close 2nd to my DS, Walt's everything.

We do rope drop everyday. :)

I went over 25 years without making one rope drop. We are night owls plus we did very long Disney vacations so that helps. This last trip we made 4 rope drops. A major record for DD and me however we didn't close too many parks on that trips. With us it is really one or the other. Can't stay up 'till 2 or 3 am and be up again at 6 am. We'd be cranky.
