I agree, love NCIS. Still many of the CSI's were good too, it is just this dude, he killed it for the rest of the cast. Wished they would have knocked him off and let the balance of the cast carry the series, the writers were good but nobody could get past him resulting in series canceled.
Never liked any of the CSI's. My parents liked Miami when it was on, but I found it way too gorry for my taste. They'll have it on, and sometimes I have to look away because I'll get grossed out. I used to love NCIS, but stopped watching after Ziva left. Absolutely cannot stand the new girl. I watched it a handful of times since she left. Once only because Jeri Ryan was on there (one of my favs from Star Trek). If Jeri Ryan had replaced Ziva, I'd still be watching.:cautious: If Ziva came back, I'd watch.

I like Los Angeles, but mainly watch for Kensi/Deeks. And Nell. And Hetti. She's short and she rocks it. :hilarious: Don't like New Orleans. I don't like Scott Bacula for some reason. My parents watch all three NCIS's. Other than LA, the only other crime drama I watch is Hawaii Five-0. Other than a few ABC Family shows, I'm pretty much down to Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time, Last Man Standing, NCIS: LA,and Hawaii Five-0 for my weekly TV shows.

He was supposed to be the "primary CSI", I dont think he would have been dropped.. ever..

I only had issues with another cast member apart from "Horatio Caine".
It was one CSI from CSI NY ( dunno his name but it was the black actor portraying a LAB expert, he acted similarly exaggerated as Caine, just in a different style)

Thanks god they toned down her dumb overdone "geeky investigator" theme.
Hated when she did her "lol im smurt by setting papers around me and sitting in the floor" thing in a few episodes. She hasnt done so in the new episodes I've seen.

Well what are they? DD and I have issues with cruddy sock syndrome too.
The brand is called Asics. They look like this:

They're nice because they cushion where you want them to cushion and breath where you need them to breath. I've also had them for several years. I used them for ice skating, for Disney trips, for months when I was on the ankle brace, and not one developed a hole. They're not cheap, but you hardly every have to replace them. They make them for men too.

Here's a link. These are the exact ones I have, though I'm sure Di ck's has other Asics brand socks

EDIT: It's worth noting that since I started wearing sneakers and these socks on WDW trips, I've only come home with blisters on the back of my heel where the sock did not hit. Also used them for ice skating and never had a blister, even with crummy rental skates. The brand makes variations that come up higher; I just prefer ankle socks.

My sister and I had a delicious lunch today at P. F. Chang's (Boston). Their food was SO good!!!! My sister had their lemon shrimp (I tried some--yum!!!), and I had "combo" pad Thai (mushrooms, shrimp, chicken and some egg mixed in with the peanuts, noodles and sauce--tasty!!). We also had Vietnamese spring rolls with dipping sauce--mmmm . . . loves me some spring rolls!!

Never been there before, but I looked online and they're all over the country. (@donaldtoo , I noticed that there are two of them in Austin, TX, as well as other Texas locations. Have you ever been there?)

I even had a Sangria (which I always thought was Mexican, but anyway it was on the cocktails menu so I tried one). It had some vodka and Merlot and fruit juices. I love fruity things, and it was sweet with a bit of a kick to it . . . and, not being much of a drinker, I was all giggly by the time the meal was over . . . :joyfull: :hilarious: :hilarious:

I am a big, long time fanof PF Chang's. I'm sorry they are struggling financially and fear they will disappear.
My favorite meal is Mongolian Beef. We also order spring rolls and fried green-beans and their wondrous fried rice. It is until this year our traditional go to place for Easter Midday meal. Me, I just order my favorite wine. Their adult beverages tend to be more Americanized.

Yeah, even if it is true, it was an extremely carpy excuse. She should have had Wednesday night and all of Thursday to do it. You need to budget your time when you've got this stuff going on.

I should ask my one professor, who pushes group projects so much, why in the world she seems to love them so much. I understand having them in certain courses, but it seems like I have them in EVERY class. And in every class it seems that one member drives me crazy the entire time. Sometimes more than one member.

In my other class with nothing but group projects the entire semester, there's this one girl driving me nuts. At the begining of the semester, she said she didn't have Facebook, which is usually how I organize groups and share files. That was fine; I said I'd send her emails. She also wouldn't let us have her phone number so that we could text her. Um...okay. And then she tells us, "I can never meet outside of class." o_O And because she won't give us her phone number, we can't even tie her into meetings.

Then, she'll send me stuff that's wrong, and then when I tell her to go back and redo it, she sends me this paragraph long explanation as to why she didn't do it right. One time, I literally emailed her back, "Instead of sending me a long explanation as to why you didn't do it right, would you please just fix it?" And she also sends me unnecessarily long emails. Two weeks ago, she sent me a two paragraph long email that essentially said, "Did you double check to make sure that the due date is Friday?" I'm thinking, "Well, you could have not wasted my time by sending that in one sentence." And I had checked, and it was Friday.

Then, last week, there was an assignment that we were doing in class. While the professor is still talking, she sits there and does half the assignment. Which made me really angry. I'm the one who has to turn in all of the assignments (literally, unless I am completely unable to turn in the assignments, I am the only one allowed to turn them in as group leader. And after me, it's another girl in my group, not this girl), so I do all of the formatting (which is her formatting is horrendous). Someone else starting an assignment before I can do the formatting on my end just slows everything down. And then doing half the assignment without us was just really insulting to us. She doesn't seem to have the interest of the team at heart, just her own interests. And she comes across as so fake. She tries to act super sweet and all and tries so hard to impress us that sometimes I want to say, "Stop. Just...stop." It's probably a good thing I don't sit next to her in class. Of course, we had a group meeting after class that day and she wasn't there, and we spent half the time complaining about her. I was just glad that it wasn't just me. The other girl in my group said she's been driving her crazy the entire semester too!

Ugh. Sorry for the rant; I'm just so frustrated and needed to get it out of my system.
I hear you. I didn't think it was a good excuse.

Thank you. Will try those. None of the socks at D icks are cheap but we've tried most, it is the breathing thing. So many say moisture wicking but find it to be the opposite. The ones at D icks we've found to be the best and the same style as your picture is the New Balance version, also breathe and have great cushion. Expensive too. Socks should not be so difficult.

Too bad you couldn't go into the first port, especially since you were to go to Margaritaville! I'm a big Jimmy Buffett fan so that would have been a stop for me too. Sounds like you took it in stride though. The taco bar sounds great. What cruise line and ship did you cruise on?

My DS took the same ship as you @MOXOMUMD and same ports. They went in June and were fortunate enough not to have to skip any ports, Sorry about the Buffett.

ohh no, I mean the bathroom sink area and the borders of the tub.
They were dark black blueish marble.

the toilet was also white/cream colored. very contrasty compared to the floor tiles.

Yeah that is what we had in the Jumbo building however similar but smaller than the moderates.

As much as I liked many of AKL plus's I'm not overly impressed with their very small square footage in the main resort, similar to the moderates nor the tiny bathroom space. To me the main building resort rooms were not worthy of the deluxe price tag.
