I see dumb master planning. The architects just came up with the architecture. Which, although having to work within' a budget, isn't all that impressive for that price either, BTW. ;)
Bottom line, I see :greedy: people. :bored:

It just unbelievable, isn't it? I will never, ever understand the decision to block the lovely view for so many guests, so that families in those eight? (I forget the exact #) bungalows can have exclusive viewing privileges . . . :banghead: :banghead:

Yeah! The new and improved DTD. I nearly spit my coffee when I saw $21 side of asparagus.

BTW they will not be accepting the Disney Dining Plan. Ha! No kidding.

So, Disney brings in a new restaurant, and doesn't even accept it's own Disney Dining Plan for it? What about all the other "Signature" restaurants that take 2 credits? (The AAA 5 Star restaurant for WDW is Victoria and Albert's; yet, I believe they only accept the "Platinum" DDP.) But at least, V&A's has established itself over the course of years, and continues to maintain its very high rating in Florida.

(I never elect the DDP for myself, but many people, particularly families, do.) The Boathouse is brand new. I think it's lousey practice to introduce a new restaurant that caters to Disney patrons, but doesn't acknowledge the DDP, (not even the Platinum version) at all. :cautious:

Wow! I love that. Must have been on it's way back to the storage creek. Dawn is my favorite time, especially at WDW. I like going out on the balcony and taking in the peace and tranquility of the area.
I saw that yesterday and thought, "Who would want to be up and watching that at that hour?" And then I thought, "Of course, MinnieM123 would love that.":hilarious:

Thank you for the welcome homes. :) (My sister is currently on assignment out of state but there will be pictures eventually.) Vacation day one was an interesting adventure even BEFORE we got to Florida. We left Ohio in sun and the closer we got to Pittsburgh the snow blew---horizontally. The plane coming in was delayed for two hours. :( What to do...what to do....EAT! We went to TGIFriday's for appetizers to waste time. Finally the plane lands, we board and sit on the tarmac for 30 minutes for the weather to break. Then we sit another 30 minutes in line for deicing. :grumpy: At last we take off and feeling like this >>:bored:<<, my friend says "I have free drinks coupons!" which made me >><<.

HERE is where things get interesting. Halfway through the 2 1/2 hour flight this guy who had obviously had a few too many in the bar and then a few on the plane decided to start singing about how he loved Bloody Marys and he wanted to marry them. The stewardesses cut him off but his stupidity carried on for a bit. It got quiet and he stumbled past us to the bathroom. (My daughter insists in sitting in the very back even though she is scared to pee on a plane. :joyfull:.) Anywho, I looked at my friends and they're looking back at me because we smell something. THE DUDE WAS IN THE BATHROOM SMOKING! He opened the door and a plume of cigarette smoke came out.

He stumbled back to his seat and the male steward went right to him and asked where he put the cigarette butt. The guy adamantly said he wasn't smoking but plenty of us were saying he was and he left flicked ashes on the floor. The stewardess was digging through the trash and looking all over the bathroom. (They were afraid of fire.) Five minutes later (and with those around him threating to whoop his butt--putting it politely) the guy admits he flushed the butt. Calm restored, the stewardess took our names and phone numbers to be witnesses because that guy will have to go to court and will be fined $2,500. If he fights the charge, we have to give a phone interview. Many hours late landing, we had taxied to the gate then had to wait another twenty minutes to get off because security came to escort that guy off first. AND he was with his wife. If I had been his wife, they would take me away for slapping the carp out of him.

We had planned to go to Rock-N-Ribs BBQ (owned by Iron Maiden's drummer, Nicko McBrain) that evening but it was almost closing time. Landing in Ft. Lauderdale, it was a cold 65* and pouring rain. :cold: (Yes, 65 is cold to me. :)) We decided to just take a shuttle to the hotel where we met some friendly people from Seattle whose flight was delayed six hours. Getting into our room that evening my daughter was asleep in fifteen minutes. Thank goodness for Chinese delivery. I was tired, hungry, and over the top excited for the ship the next day. (I still had a major fear of big ships at this point.)

TO BE CONTINUED (after catching up some) with "You can take Express boarding.", "oooh Pasta Bar" and Happy Feet!

Okay, I bit the bullet and got the new tablet.

Thoughts were:
1. In two years, my old tablet will definitely be on its last legs, but money will be tighter than currently since I'll be graduating and will either have moved out or will be moving out
2. This one will do what I need it to do, and I might have less lugging around of my laptop to do
3. I had a 10% student discount plus an additional 5% from a promo code, so there was no point in waiting around for a better deal (it was $112 off as it is; I did not get as good a deal on my first tablet)
4. I can cancel between now and May 5th if I change my mind, and if I don't like it, I can return it.

And Dad told me to get a new keyboard, so I got a new keyboard. Either he or my brother (or both) will use my old tablet.
I hope you bought the middle level one (the 256Gb one with 8Gb ram)
the 8Gb is really needed imho.

definitively not for me.
I would be hungry all the time if my house did smell like a delicious meat cut.

Yes! Dawn.

Seems they've been receiving mega complaints from Guests of the Poly (duh) that are not in the Bungalows not being able to view the Pageant any longer so they are doing Dawn tests to see if they can improve the angle from the limited remaining viewing area. I see dumb architects. Imagineering is baffling me lately.
I still wonder why the hell they didn't built more far away from the normal buildings.

I dont think any of these are Disney based.
They are just renting the space in Disney Springs. (like Morimotos's )

I bought the one that has not been released, not the pro, this one. I did, however, spend more and get the one one with more memory and more ram. The Pros are way out of my price range.

This is meant to supplement, not replace, my laptop. Like I use my current tablet, but with the newer features that I need.
