Haha. Good one. That reminds me of our trip last fall with some friends. We couldn't help doing the that's what she said jokes so had come up with a facial expression to replace it so the parents with kids wouldn't get mad around is. So immature hah.

nope, as far I know, the contract is unchangeable and uncancellable.
Also the boardwalk is way too expensive.
500 USD more than AKL or Old key west.

Did you try DVC Rental Store . com? They also offer a cancellation policy.

I did, same price actually.. infact, they're more expensive because we're still inside the 7+ months allocation.
7+ costs like 2 USD more per point.. so I would end paying 3,600 USD instead of the 3,000 USD.

also, sadly.. they just informed that the 31th is definitively gone on AKL.

I was at coronado springs in February too, I was in the casitas area, right next to the convention center.
I still didn't liked the walk as it was around 1 mile and half to reach the bus stop #1.
But was very close to the restaurant and bar.

Also, coronado seems more.. dunno.. cheap looking than even POR.
Old West seems more high end golfing club style.

Ill see what I can do, Id rather stay at AKL.. I really enjoyed that hotel (I'm a sucker for hotels with lots of green and trees)

Also the rooms (aka the internal parts) of AKL were EONS ahead of what you see in POR or CS.

The layout is the most revealing part..
where in AKL you get a nice balcony looking out.
in all Moderates.. people walk right by your window and the walkway roads are pretty simple.

The rooms at POR are just as big as the rooms in AKL in the main buildings, one of my pet peeves that they put moderate sized rooms in a deluxe resort. My other issue with AKL other than how far out it is from everything is it is absent of pretty green stuff. I've never stayed at the DVC compound but everything at the lodge lacks the beautiful greens of the POR and FQ. It is all about personal taste, I really love the Mansion area of POR and find the FQ to be very charming. The food court at POR is themed better than AKL though I like AKL food in theirs better but it lacks adequate seating during rush times and getting ADRs is tough at AKL if it is your home resort. When I stayed at CS the sidewalks were all lined with perennial flower bushes all the way up to the main pool area and surrounding it. I wonder if they were wintering their blooms while you were at CS???

Yep, it is winter break in the US, the peak of peak of crowded and expensive. The longer you wait the more choices are going to be gone. So many locals stay in the resorts for NYE.

Beer Delivery is very common around the Big 10 schools.

The best as I can tell retracing, it appears that someone made it a joke and it was picked up as a solid rumor.
I believe it is a rumor but everyone poopoo'd Jim Hill when he said AoA was coming and blasted him for making things up. Disney has done stranger things and guests would stay in them.
