I have been doing a little research for my next trip and I really liked the look of the menu at Spice Road Table, but I have never really heard anyone say they have been. can anyone shed any light on what the food is like?

I was going to say nay but now looking at their new menu, where they added entrees, I couldn't give you an educated nay. When we went the appetizers were very expensive for what you got, in fact everything was overpriced. This was last year.

Based on the "Pre Dining Plan Menu" we had in September the food was really good but very overpriced even for Disney. Again, food was very good. Here is what we got:

We went in August and used the 30% AP discount and overall, we liked it. The only things I didn't like was the Mediterranean Omelette AKA Spanish Tortilla and the white wine flight. The tortilla and the accompanying tomato sauce had very little flavor. I didn't care for the white wine flight and I guess that one is on me. The wines were from Greece, Cyprus and Morocco--not exactly wine powerhouses, KWIM? I also ordered the stuffed grape leaves and I enjoyed those, too.

My son scarfed down his calamari and the baked brie. I would back now that they serve entrees. I like the looks of their veggie offering.

We were there just last month and loved it. I had the Greek Salad and Mix Grill Skewers. They were both very tasty. And between the two skewers, more than enough meat. The roasted potatoes were really good too. My friend just went with small plates: Spicy Garlic Shrimp, Moroccan Lamb Sausage and the Lamb Slider. He finished all three and said they were all really good. His niece was wanting to try the Coriander Crusted Rack of Lamb but was hesitant. The waitress told her she would love it, but if she didn't she would bring her something else at no charge. Well, she ended up loving it. I didn't try it but it looked really good. If it's still on the menu in the future, I would try it myself. Two big thumbs up from our group of three!

I vote nay.

I went there when it first opened and the service was atrocious. I have never been treated so badly in WDW. The food is very small portions for a high price. It is fine for a snack, but don't try to fill up there unless you are willing to spend $50 or so.

I love the sound of the veggie platter, that and the baked brie is what attracted me!

We went shortly after it opened and were not impressed. I got one of the sampler plates and didn't really like it. I guess it isn't my type of food. It was kind of pricey as well. I can't speak for any menu changes since then, haven't paid attention to it since I didn't love it.
