Interstellar was the most visually beautiful film I've seen in a while. Honestly felt like I was on a simulator during certain points. Not sure how I feel about the resolution though.

Yikes.
At least a thousand, I should think. 3.5 hours times 300 (give or take) viewings.

Equates to less than 6 months of full time employment.

Now, I don't feel so bad.

2/3 of it feels long, but it is just a really enjoyable journey. The last 1/3 is where I started to get antsy just because it gets really weird and I think that is where a lot of people start to lose patience with it. Also making me antsy during the last 1/3 was the need to use the restroom.

So, DH just called to tell me that the car broke down for him this morning and he is having it towed to the mechanic's.

So, DH just called to tell me that the car broke down for him this morning and he is having it towed to the mechanic's.

Oh carp. Hopefully it's just a belt or something along those lines.

He thinks it's a belt too. He's going to call me when they get to the mechanics. We're panning to replace that vehicle next spring anyway, so I hope this isn't anything too expensive.

Might have to stop at the store on my way home. Anyone know what size cake would be appropriate for celebrating this occasion? I'm thinking half a sheet cake. Although a full sheet cake if I would need to share with anyone else.
