Because there have been issues of parents using the parks as a baby sitter and just dropping kids off at the gate and picking them up several hours later.

I worked at DisneyQuest for 6 months, trust me, they do drop them off.. and then they get in trouble when they can't prove their parents are not around. It's got the same rules as the parks folks!

That's the truth. I was really surprised to see a boy, about 10 yrs old, wearing a shirt that said: 'If you ain't from Texas, you ain't #€£¥'. I'm sure the parents were just itchin for someone to complain....

There is no rule but it is against the law.

VERY good comments here. Maybe some of us should whip up a list of rules and submit them to Disney. We're the ones who have to see those t-shirts and listen to those idiot chants and put up with the morons taking flash pictures on Pirates of the Caribbean!

I understand that aspect - but I still think it's ironic that they call a 13 year old a child by guidelines yet by monetary standards they've been adults for three years.
