We are closing Krispy Creams down here right and left. :(
What I find amazing here in North Carolina is that there are so few Krispy Kreme stores around here. Krispy Kreme's started here in NC, yet if you want to have one, you have to go to your local grocery and buy them off the shelf. I have never done that because I don't want to pay a fortune to find out that they have all dried out before I bought them. There are way more Dunkin Donuts around though. You cannot swing around in Florida without bumping into a Krispy Kreme store.

We have 10 DD's within a 2 mile radius of our house, but no Krispy Kremes. I think the closest KK is in Connecticut.

Hilarious.

Hubby is complaining I booked All Star Sports.
Wants me to switch to Coronado Springs, if still available on Monday.

Guess this means he's planning on coming.

I always wanted to stay there. Such a beautiful resort and the pool looks awesome. Whenever I go back I am going to be doing my best to manipulate everyone to choose either there or POR to be the top choice for where to stay when we vote.:devilish:

We've stayed at Coronado three times. It is really beautiful with a great pool area. On one trip they moved us to a VIP Suite. Something about a maintenance problem in the room we had been in.

Yep, I hear ya.
The plan doesn't work for everyone.

Over the years, our touring plans have evolved around the DDP. Free Dining is just a bonus!

We've only done the DDP twice. On our trips in July of '12 and June of '13. It obviously wasn't bein' offered for "free" at those times, but, I was still a CM and we got it for 50% off. Would never purchase it at full price, but, boy howdy, did we ever oink out on both of those trips...!!! :joyfull: :hungry: :)

Is he going to marry her?
She wants to get married. They've been together for 7 years. A major concern is that she may lose her disability benefits if they get married, so financially, they want to make sure that they can do it, or they have to figure out how to keep her disability coverage since she can't work. They're devoted to each other, and they've been raising her daughter together as if she were his biological child, so probably once they figure out how to do it financially.

Proud, proud day for me.

I convinced my 19 year old son to vote. His first time ever.

I am one of those saps that tears up every time I vote. I feel so grateful and privileged for the right. That right came at a tremendous cost.

I sorta played the "Mom card". I reminded Son #1 that my grandfather spent years as a German POW so that he could have the right to vote, that his own grandfather was horribly wounded in Holland to preserve democracy. And I may have gone on and on for a bit. Anyways, the passion in my voice must have swayed him.

When I went back to the polling station, they remembered me ... as the sap who was so choked with emotion, with tears trickling down her cheek after casting her vote.

What can I say? I cry at weddings, funerals ... and polling stations. No shame here.
