@Cesar R M thank you for posting your beautiful pictures. The yellow birds, in particular, are very pretty. You are talented in photography. Your lovely photos gave me a much-needed lift this morning. Sometimes there are days that I read comments about various things on the forums, and it gets me down. This morning was one of those days. That's why your nice pictures appeared at just the right time, to cheer me up a bit.
I hope your day gets better. :) (passes cupcake through the screen)

Yes, and your hair is instantly two inches shorter, but twice as wide!

When I was pregnant with my first I decided my hair was too long and cut it to just above my shoulders. With layers. In mid-July. It had been to my mid-back and I was able to let it curl naturally. After the cut I had to wear it in a clip for the remainder of the summer or it would curl to an awfully unflattering length. I no longer get haircuts during humid months. I can't be trusted to make good decisions.

I did that once too. It was cut just a bit too short to tie back but too long to tolerate the humidity. I think that was the summer I discovered the claw clips now that I think about it...

Chicago could soon be getting a new entertainment venue that floats on Lake Michigan. “Breakwater Chicago” is a luxury yacht that will be docked about a mile off shore and will have a pool, restaurants and sun decks.

Being currently funded by Kick Start.

Well, things are a little worse for me right now.

After almost 30 years withs bangs (of varying lengths), I am making one final attempt to grow them out.
And it is NOT pretty.

Plus, I am growing out most of my layers.
And it is NOT pretty.

And I'm sick of the highlights - so next colour appointment, I will have her colour all my hair, and not just a root touch-up.

I can't do bangs. I finally have gotten it through my thick skull too. I have a small forehead so the bangs end up being awkwardly short and it is NOT a good look.

Started my photo heavy post!

http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/pittsburgh-arts-festival-and-fort-pitt.885367/

Unfortunately I need to leave it there for a few, I gotta get some work done and run out of the office in a bit.

Will add more to it soon :)

Thanks for sharing all of that! :)

BTW...
I couldn't help but chuckle at the acronym "TRAF". Spell it backwards... :D ;) :)
One of my favorite aunts always used to inquire with "Did you/someone traf?" when she thought someone may have dropped an SBD. Usually my uncle...! :)

:banghead:

My lunch totally sucked. I had a taco salad with edible bowl but the taco meat was incredibly dry, there was no dressing, there were olives on it (seriously, a taco salad with olives? are you kidding me?) and the edible shell bowl thing was apparently deep fried in the same oil that they cook fish in, because, ew, gross.

I ate the greenery and cherry tomatoes and picked at the meat and left the olives, cheese, and bowl.

I'm still quite hungry. But I paid too much for half a lunch, I can't really afford to shell out more for more kibble. Gonna be a loooooooong afternoon.

:(

LOL I didn't even think of that! That's great!

And you're very welcome :) I'll photograph the pretty stuff I bought and post it up later on for you!

glad you like!

Funny thing:
I usually make a run every 1 or two days around the area where I live.
lots of birds! (and cats!)
But this was the first time I walked around with a camera. (due of the rain danger)

I still hope to get that illusive red-orange painted bird soon :>

As for talent, let's say that I'm a very good "photography opportunist" . Because I have a lot of luck and I always tend to get good photos due of this.

I have a feeling we will be putting ours in the window in the next few days. I hate it because with one less window to open our only option is to use the AC, and although it is a quiet window model the noise still bothers me. I prefer to open all the windows for a cross-breeze, use a fan and move as little as possible but hubby is not on board with that plan.

Why not set the AC in the furthest away room and push the air with a strong fan?
