Certain YouTube videos are loading for me. I thought it was YouTube's problem, but after Googling it, it sounds like it's my internet provider's problem. People around the country are having the same issue. I really hate only having one choice here.

We're going to need another gal.
Hubby is not going to like me hanging out with two dudes and a trash can.
Especially that trash can! ;)

Son #2 is hurting today!
Reminds me of the first party I went to. My father had to pick me up and bring me home. They had friends over and as I self-consciously was forced to walk through the living room to get to my bedroom, I was overcome with the need to say something. As I got to the end of the room (almost home free) I turned around and said in a loud voice... "I had such a good time at the party tonight that I throwd up twice." and then proceeded to my room. The next morning my eyes were practically bleeding. My mother asked my how I felt. I said that I felt awful. She looked at me and said, "good, I hope it lasts for days". I'm hoping it was tough love.:(

they refuse to expand their network infrastructure because "its too expensive".

LOL! DH's mom used to cook a big greasy sausage and eggs breakfast whenever he or his sister had been out partying. The smell alone was apparently enough to induce more upchucking.

That was my father in law's trick too.

One morning, after a dance up at their trailer park, he and I had a lovely morning feast while everyone else (including his wife, my not quite yet MIL) turned positively green.

Okay, I sold that last house twice.

One offer is stronger than the other, so that's going to be the winner.

Both full price, but Offer #1 threw in a financing condition at the last minute and a post-dated deposit, knowing full well that Offer #2 was just waiting for her to leave.

Offer #2 is firm, full price, and with a partial deposit we can cash tomorrow and the balance in two weeks. Works for me! Only problem is, this was their first time in, and I really hate selling to people on their first time through. Probably not a total impulse buy though; they are investors.

Most places seem to only have one choice. Verizon was supposed to be the other choice in my state, but they quit adding fiber lines and refuse to finish them. So now there are lots of neighborhoods where one house can get Comcast or Fios and right next door can only get Comcast.

Yes
Well, won't be seeing the aunt and the neices in Hilton Head. My aunt has to work. Including the weekend. So it'll be just us. Lovely. :grumpy:

In other news the Orioles got crushed today, my favorite player got ejected, and it seems the Orioles may have a new rivalry with Oakland after two bench-clearing brawls this weekend and unsportsman-like conduct on both sides.

I've officially finished all the forms I need to finish before I can start work. Tomorrow I'll have to call and set up an orientation time where I get to watch a bunch of boring videos (according to a friend who works there)! Yippie!

You got that account number I sent you for your direct deposit form, right? Always glad to help!
Unfortunately you didn't send me your financial institution's name, or your routing number. Who knows where the paychecks are going now?

Yup. That tends to be the case. We actually have zero choices for cable or fiber optic. Both Verizon and Comcast (the two options in our area) refuse to come down our street because there are only 6 houses on it and it is a cul-de-sac. Not worth the expense of running the cable/fiber-optic for just 6 houses. So, we have DirecTV and DSL for internet. I get consistently made fun of by friends and co-workers for still having DSL and being happy with it. Verizon only brought DSL to our area a few years ago. Yes, I really had dial up internet until about 2005. Some day we'll hit the 21st Century...
