It all depends on the personalities involved. We've gone with the same group of friends/family several times with very few problems, but the one year that we went with a certain group of know-it-alls I still have nightmares about. One instance comes to mind involving me wanting to watch Spectro while they were doing Space Mountain (I don't do SM anymore because of back issues, and as an adult fully capable of making my own decisions I feel that is not unreasonable). They were screaming at me about why I HAD to do this with them or "else".

I chose "else" and watched Spectro.

My family was reaching that level of dysfunctional last trip... I'll go with my parents (though my dad is probably never going back), but not my extended family again. The bickering and complaining just was too much.

My one aunt and her family we've been with 2.5 times. I say 2.5 because one time we were down there at the same time, but they went with friends, so we just spent part of a day together. Anyway, they are the worst to go with. First of all she's crazy and always takes small, personal jabs at people (especially my family). Second of all, she goes from opening to closing without leaving the parks at all. That's too much for me. I need to at least go back to the hotel for a couple hours if that happens. Third of all, she likes to be together ALL THE TIME. The only break we get from them is sleeping. That's why we like to go with my other aunt and her family now, they are a lot like us in terms of how we approach Disney. The only complaints I have is they will wait a long time for certain things that we wouldn't, and they pass up some of the smaller attractions.
