Years ago, Hubby and I would joke around about who would get the kids if we ever split up.

Me: I'm taking the kids.
Hubby: You're an unfit mother.
Me: My mother will testify that I'm the better parent.
Hubby: Your mother would lie under oath? I'm taking them.
Me: Over my dead body.
Hubby: That can be arranged.

Fast forward ten years.

Me: No way I'm taking them. You take them.
Hubby: No way, you take them.
Me: But I'm an unfit mother.
Him: No, no. I'll testify that you're the better parent.
Me: You would lie under oath?
Hubby: You bet your (expletives deleted).

I keep getting an ad for this wonderful beach resort......in Wisconsin.

We do have some nice ones.

Parmesan Mashed Potatoes (Chef Mickeys)
Garlic Beans (Liberty Tree)
Beignets (POFQ)
Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake (Liberty Tree)

And a bunch of other stuff...I didn't make it the whole way through the menu because I got busy...

Anyhow, I'll get over to that thread and post later today. I have to go run a few errands first.

Cool pics. I am going to Le Cellier for the first time in September. I know what I am getting now.

I definitively will have to write these dishes when I return to WDW.

speaking of filets.. I wonder if Palo at DCL has something similar.
As I'm a big fan of Steaks.. but also mushrooms, mushroom creams, gravy, shrimp and lobster.

The dishes have changed a bit since they got a new chef (last year)

But, these are my favorites. They still have them.

I actually liked my pretzel bread better than theirs! Mine was fresh. They order theirs in.

I have only done Palo once and cannot remember exactly what was on the menu. I just know I had a pasta dish and it was amazing. I wasn't looking for steak at that time but I am sure they have a good one.

Prom is in less than one week.

Thankfully Son #2's black suit (from my mom's funeral) still fits, so I only needed to get him a new shirt, tie and pocket square.
Blue. That's all the direction I got. I made him come with me, although he was ZERO help.

I apparently aggravated my calf/knee/foot/ankle really bad. The heel of my foot is red and painful and I can't walk. I'm trying to keep my misery to myself.

My weekend: over extend my energy supply at family going away military picnic yesterday, after emptying water out of hot tub manually and covering said hot tub with thick plastic (threw some bleach into hot tub for good measure) and then the beat up cover that my landlord finally agreed to replace.

This morning I cut the grass, weeded the flower and vegetable gardens, tied up growing tomato planties, painted rocks (long story), got a wicked sunburn, and ran errands to several stores. Now I'm on the couch unable to move my left leg without pain.

I expect a full weekend report of how everyone's was on my desk Monday morning

It's lovely! I'm a big fan of that paisley esque design. It's in vogue right now, esp. for summer.
