That's the kind of cloning I can handle, cloning that doesn't cannabalize attendance from one resort to another. It seems extremely unlikely the Dwarf Coaster would persuade guests to visit WDW that would have just gone to Shanghai otherwise, unlike, say, the cloning of major unique attractions from Disneyland to WDW.

Actually, the MK version is the clone. It was greenlit for Shanghai before being resurrected and redesigned for MK.

Big Blues are cloning PotC and Soarin, with a dash of Living With the Land.

EDIT -- If they did clone 7DMT for Avatarland, they would have to call it "Avatar Giant's Mind Drain".

It will take some clever overdubbing to get blue people flying over California...I mean they surely would not spend money on a new film when the old one is in such good shape right???? Maybe they will just have you sit on an Ikran while soaring over Cali...nobody will notice the reused analog footage then right?

If it happens I can only assume it will be one of the new parks in Asia!
Now that SDMT is almost complete it brings up another question "How is WDW going to alleviate crowd flow in the MK? Will New attractions be planned for other lands inside MK or will something be added in the other parks (Not just Avatarland which wont be complete for many years to come or the rumored Star Wars Land) but something that has not been mentioned or a smaller attraction that can be created quickly?

Nope. As far as I know, Shanghai will be a direct lift of the final MK version.

Agreed but something new is far and few between... We got Everest in 2006. That was a while ago though...
