Ohana help, please

Hi everyone! Please don't throw rocks at me, but I'm going to admit that I have never ate at Ohana. Ahhh..I know, it's a shame?! Three questions:
1. How late in the night will the boat take me back to Magic Kingdom?
2. Is it a good place to watch fireworks or should we avoid this?
3. I know it's on the 2nd floor, so are stairs close to the restaurant? (I know this is a weird question, but I have a reason to ask. Haha)

1. Depends on when you are traveling - I think boat transportation runs an hour after the MK closes. The monorail runs 2 or 3 hours after closing. I dined in January when MK closed at 7pm and did not leave the Polynesian until after 10 - I ended up taking the bus from the resort to DTD then to my resort Sports. Plan for transportation both going and coming (at least 90 minutes going).

2. I have been lucky enough to go on a date with my boyfriend and have a table overlooking the castle - it was even more special because it was during the holidays when the castle was lit up with white lights. And we were there about an hour before the fireworks and it was perfection. Again, this will depend on when you are going. Everyone that knows will plan their dinner within the 2 hour interval of the fireworks typically 7 to 9pm. And a lot of people with earlier reservations will lag around just to watch the show. If you can snag a reservation it is well worth it. They pipe the music as well.

3. There are stairs right at the entrance. the check in podium is a little walk but not much. There is also an elevator right there as well (I think nearest the podium).

Wow, that was very helpful! Thank you very much! I have been told that there is a short walk from there to the TCC, which would prevent me from having to take the water taxi back to MK. I was originally thinking that I would have to take the boat back to MK, then travel to the TCC from there.

You can walk from the Poly to the TTC, but I actually think the sidewalk is blocked off right now because of the construction.

If you're trying to get back to a Disney resort, going to the TTC won't help you, anyway. There is no transportation back to Disney resorts from the TTC.

We are not going until October, so maybe the sidewalk will be open my then. We are not staying on the Disney property. Thank you for the help. :)

Are you driving your own vehicle? If so, why not just park right at the Poly? They'll let you park there if yiu give a dinner reservation.

Iam driving my own vehicle, but I will be spending that whole day at MK. So, I was going to take the boat over to poly for dinner while I watch the fireworks and then walk back to TTC.

In October you should be able to take the monorail to TTC to get your car after dinner. You can also plan to take the walkway from Poly to TTC but as someone else mentioned - there is construction and disney seems to move at a glacial pace sometimes. Disney in October is amazing - fall is in the air, somewhat low crowds and halloween celebrations :)

Your best bet is to park at TTC spend day at MK, then take boat back to TTC and move your car to the Poly parking lot for dinner, then you won't have to worry.
