Are there any songs that remind you of your trip/s to Disney?

We heard Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time on our way to our breakfast at Chef Mickeys and it just seemed like the perfect song to start our day! Now everytime I hear it, it makes me think of it.

Now American Authors - Best Day of My Life makes me think of our future trip! It always seems to be on Pandora as Im planning! HAHA

Best Day of My Life makes me think of walking down Main Street USA. It's a great feeling. I also like Pharrel's - Happy because I'm happy just thinking of Disney.

Terence Trent D'Arby's Wishing Well.

I guess it was 1987- not our first WDW trip- but our first WDW road trip. We lived up in NJ at the time and while my dad would take the day shift driving, my mom drove at night and I'd stay up with her to help keep her alert. This song was already a fave, but it was all over the radio at that time. So in every state, every station, at least once an hour, we'd get a dose of this song. I think my mom got it on cassette after this so we could have it for future road trips. To this day, when I hear it, I feel like it's middle of the night and I'm driving through South Carolina on the way to WDW :)

The one that immediately reminds me of WDW is El Paso by Marty Robbins. How? What? How? Why, you might ask. Well, I'll tell you just give me a minute, geez!

Anyway, on our first family trip in 1983 finances were very tight so we went to a Cafeteria style restaurant on Rte 192. It's no longer there and I cannot remember the name of it, but, it seemed like every time we walked in there El Paso was playing in the background, so now every time I hear "Out in the west Texas town of El Paso... I remember WDW. That makes sense doesn't it?

I wonder if the same director and crew were used for Milli Vanilli, because their videos have the same style and look.

And am I the only one that thinks that Darby's voice doesn't match him? Kind of like when people first saw Rick Astley.

"One" from A Chorus Line!
On my trip in January, my parents and I stayed at ASMu and whenever we passed the Broadway section, my mom and I would just start singing it! It was the song of our trip!

I will play Enter Sandman by Metallica when we first leave... Song doesn't remind me of anything Disney, but it gets me pumped! Also Song 2 by Blur so the same reason...WOOHOO!

Without You- Motley Crue. I'd downloaded a couple new songs right before my December 2012 trip and listened to them, and that was the one that stuck in my head the most.

I've made mix CDs for all of our trips, with some songs appearing on multiple trip CDs. We always rent a car, so we end up playing the trip's CD several times throughout the vacation. Imprinted on my boys' memories are the following songs that will forever remind them of their childhood trips to the World:
1. Once in a Lifetime, The Talking Heads
2. Mr. Blue Sky, ELO
3. Feel Good Inc, Gorillaz
4. Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Elton John
5. United States of Whatever, Liam Lynch (from The Sifl and Olly Show).

Off Topic (slightly), but, when I moved from Vermont to North Carolina I had my Beatles CD set on "I'll follow the Sun" and played it for the first half hour of my trip. I was alone and had only that to reinforce my decision to make that big move. Isn't it funny how music fits into so many parts of our lives?:)
