They usually open a ride for soft opening 1-2 months before the actual grand opening of the ride...I can see possible end I march soft opening but don't hold your breath. You'd have a much better chance in the month of April for soft opening! Good luck to all I you!
Last time a new ride opened and I was at WDW was te year Everest opened. I got to ride it 2 months before the actual grand opening. It was soft testing. The only time I got to see the Yeti in true form!

Soft Opening (Dress Rehearsal) for AK park was six weeks prior to official opening and free tickets were given to onsite guests. Seems consistent with other openings.
