If he pays for it and it works for him, I'm all for it.

I love that amazon is getting into delivering Tide and other household items on regular schedules. I can even order my yellow-capped Downy, which will save me from having to visit Wal-Mart. Our Wal-Mart is horrible and I'm so thrilled that I don't have to go there any longer.

Whatever amazon needs, I vote Yea. :)

Amazon is already taking a giant bite out of you local merchants pockets and shutting down Mom & Pop operations around the nation, why not go ahead and put UPS and FedEx out of business as well?

I think the FAA will put a stop to this.
Eventually, though UPS and FedEx might develop similar technologies that would compete with Amazon.

They'd probably do better with delivery driver clones. Clone the best of the best.
But, then again, if it leads to me FINALLY gettin' a hover car, I'm all for it.

When my DH was in college he worked 12am - 4am loading UPS trucks. Think dropping packages are new to drone tech?
There's quite a bit of difference in dropping a package in a warehouse from 4 feet above the ground to dropping a package from 10,000 feet above peoples heads.

Like Steve said, this was a publicity stunt and very similar to Google's April fools jokes.
