I believe that toast might of been banana foster toast. I has a Experanice at Tony's where I said what the heck kind of sauce is this ragu....Have you ever had something to eat at Disney and something on the plate had you guessing what the flavour was.?..
Let me explain further...Last year at Cali Grill,I had my first Sushi experience ( Does that sound naughty ) Anyway the salmon was marinated in this kinda vinaigrette that had me thinking and my taste buds jumping. It was ginger, awesome combination..Another one is still a mystery to me..We had a hot breakfast platter ( our only big breakfast ) at SS in Epcot, and there was a slice of bread, either toasted or pan dipped with a distinctive banana flavour..At first I thought it was a slice of this famous ( yet to try ) Tonga Toast, but it wasn't...So I'am curious if anyone else has had this " What the heck was that " moment at Disney..

Whit!!!I drive my husband crazy doing the *hmmm what IS that flavor?!!?* bit all the time! LOL I am a serious foodie and did this last year many times during F&W. When I first tasted the lobster mac n cheese, I was really surprised... It was GOOD Another dish we loved was the Kiss before Shrimp appy at Raglan Road..
..C 'Etait...Sorry to beat the place up, but french onion soup and lobster mac n cheese at les Chefs had us scratchin our heads. ooyy veayyy, or however the French say it.![]()

LOL...Will do..My DS takes French at school so he can be our translatorClose lol....
Proper french or Quebec french. One sounds pretty the other is pretty vulgar lol...
Mad hatter you can vouch for me on that one

Guess we got lucky, it wasnt dry at all, but I know what you mean... we have lobster mac n cheese at a 5 star restaurant a few months ago and it was exactly as you described.Maybe you actually had cheese and lobster, not dried out noodles like us. If you cant make a simple mac n cheese right, even prepped early where all you have to do is mix sauce, noodles, and lobster, FAIL!!!! Knock that place down and rebuild it, it is a disgrace to french cuisine, and decor.
Surely it's not that awful...Reviews ( here we go ) have it better than bad..Bit like our experience at Le Cells..Never again..Yet it remains very popular...Maybe you actually had cheese and lobster, not dried out noodles like us. I was in France a few years ago attempting to remember and speak the French I learned in Quebec as a teen, see above. The woman I was speaking to asked "Are you from Quebec?" I was told that Quebec french hasn't evolved like Parisian french and some of the words are considered old fashion, I'm not sure if it's true just what I was told.
Perisian french is like English from England. (Proper) They use proper words instead of the SLANG words. In quebec we are very slang. Just like english in canada or the states. We use slang words much more then the real proper words. Its not that Quebec hasnt evolved there french its we are just different.
For example Car
Franch would say AUTOMOBILE
Quebec would say CHAR
Same goes for swear words. They use proper swears quebec has created their own lol...
