Then is a work of art because the Hulk is green and hideous!whatever, I guess some people like the look of exposed track like its and art piece. I think its ugly so I will stick by my opinion. its green and hideous!

There is a subtle punchline though: The exit area has the fallen outlines of the Fantastic Four on the ground. Doom actually won.The Doom Preshow is possibly the best queue video ever.
With one of the most anticlimactic ride ever. I wish Uni would take the queue/preshow and tack it onto a new ride.
You make a good point.
Six Flags has different aesthetical aspirations. It may be out of place in a Disney park, but at Six Flags leaving stuff bare and exposed actually adds to the theming:

I think "fully immersive", i.e. indistinguishable from a real land outside of a theme park, is taking it too far.For a land to be fully immersive, it can't have a bare coaster.

I just find the whole Marvel Superhero Island to be very tacky and ugly in my opinion
I can see what you mean by the references for the fans and I do love the marvel movies but not the comics. The large figures make it look cheapThe giant characters were a poor choice. But the land is full of amazing details for fans. There are so many great little touches.
I agree that the giant characters aren't all that great. However, I love the architecture of the land.I just find the whole Marvel Superhero Island to be very tacky and ugly in my opinion
Pretty much. And maybe the music being turned down just a notch...I really like MSHI, but I too wouldn't mind the removal of the character cut-outs.
Actually, yes it does. But I am not going to get into the Realism vs. Impressionism argument again. Have fun riding your trains around a mountain.

Oh, and Dave, I am glad you brought up Universal's entertainment. Fear Factor, Sindbad's, and Beetlejuice all need to be replaced. But the Horror Make-up Show is one of the best theme park shows there is.
This is also true. Maybe just removing some of them, but not all of them. Like, keeping Spidey at The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and Dr. Doom at Dr. Doom's Fear Fall. Then just removing all of the ones pinned onto the buildings... Of course, the walk-around super heroes would still stay, amongst other things.I wouldn't mind their removal if they were replaced with more theming. But I'd hate for the place to just look like New York. The cut-outs may be tacky. But they make the place look comic-booky. Comics are a 2-dimensional medium, so the cut-outs kind of fit.
The first time I saw the Horror Make Up Show I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes.

Ummmmmm ... no!but very well themed! I like rollercoaster a lot. But I would honestly rather ride BTMRR then Hulk anyday just because of the theme!
