Just wondering if anyone from the UK has done an 11 day trip..Reason I ask is that flying from Manchester instead of Glasgow is a saving of £450 and the 11 day instead of 14 is £ 600 cheaper..A total of £1.050..With flights now under 8 hours and leaving at 0945 and getting into Orlando by 1300, the day is not wasted..Any thoughts on this including my American buddies..

Still leaning towards VA tbh not that much more than Thompson (can't figure their upgrade price) plus we get 2 cases @ 23kg each when we travell PE.
Every time I look at VA the prices are wayyyy much dearer than anyone else..VA economy seat pitch 31".. Dreamliner economy seat pitch 34".... That extra 3" makes a big difference ( smiles & grins ) But I know you go prem..I'll check VA from Manchester. The thing is Virgin give you free drink the entire flight.. That means I'll be Soarin on the flight,Soarin on the drink, and Soarin on Soarin...Thats too much Soarin for me.:(

Yes I've been busy today doing just that...7 days from Glasgow in October with park hoppers, free QS,PORS.transfers from airport £4140..10 nights from Manchester...£4189... 11 nights from Manchester ...£4336...;)

Are you going this October or looking for next October?.... I did a Thomson booking back in 2007 but our vacations since then we have booked resort/ tickets direct with disney and then flights direct with VA when they are released 11 months prior to departure date and this has saved us ££££. Our flights with VA for 2a 2c usually are around £2300, and the plus being a flight direct into MCO then the magical express to resort.

There is no way I would pay that! Are getting quotes from virgin holidays by any chance ? That price sound about right for them, what dates are you looking to go ? We have booked our resort for next year but flights we will book in Oct once they are released making sure we get the cheapest fare before its all gone.

Is that one way? If not..Who the heck is quoting you that price.?Is that 2 adults and 1 child..?Sorry about all the questions but that price sounds awesome..
Hey no that's for 3 adults as you said your son was a teenager. I got that myself today, went on to Virgins Atlantic's website and did the quote that's return.... We go around those dates, we take the kids out of school 1 week early to get best airfare; we do always get permission from the school before taking them out. Honestly booked direct with VA and book direct with disney for your hotel and tickets you should see a considerable saving.
