Epcot is an amazing park for so many reasons. I love beer the World Showcase. My wife and I enjoy beer walking from the BW and just casually strolling around the countries and taking in all the beer sights. We also love beer many of the rides at Epcot: Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Finding Nemo, Test Track, orange slushy drinks in France. We still love beer MK more than Epcot but it is getting closer every visit. And margaritas too!!

For us its the two different worlds. The fun and exciting future world with its rides and cool innoventions, and the World showcase. All that great food to try around the world, followed by Illuminations. It is the perfect place for a whole day of differences. I love walking around the different pavilions, they do a really good job of showing different architecture and cultural styles. The shops are pretty cool too, with my favorite being China and Japan, but they are all great. The only pavilion we never have visited is America, and we will this year after I did some research as to what is there. But why is America the only place with out a table side restaurant? It just seems so blah compared to other countries.

Well Epcot is my 2nd favourite park..It has my number one favourite ride.." Soarin "..And I love the following in no particular order..Walking thro Mexico shop ( No La Cava today ) and watching the Maharajas outside.( play those trumpets boys ) Then a quick visit to Norway ( beware of the trolls ) then a wee tour thro the shop in China before paying tribute to Germany ( my bass players country of origin ) After getting the usual funny photos at Italy, we then pay homage to the Stars & Stripes..Try and catch Voices of Liberty before hitting Japan..Check out the shops ( I've a Samurai sword at home ) Then we have a stroll thro Morocco before getting more pics in France, then it's a yummy from Boulangerie Patisserie ..Yeh UK...It's almost a Fast Pass..Blackpool on a sunny day..Sorry UK lovers..Not for me..Love Canada..The waterfall and always a cool Molson whilst watching Off Kilter..I do most of the other stuff, except Mission Space & Test Track..;)
Totally agree with you!!! MK is my favorite park but Soarin is my favorite ride. It usually makes me cry and my husband just looks at me and rolls his eyes.... I skip mission space and test track too. Love Space Ship earth.
The jaminators are great and I am looking forward to hearing the Voices of Liberty (never did this before)!!! Also we have never been to karamell Kuche and I am looking foward to consuming a significant amount of calories here!!! AND last but not least.......... I have never seen Illuminations... gasp.... so excited for this!!!

EPCOT has become my favorite park.

Soarin has to be one of the best attraction concepts I've experienced. I'd love to see it updated to be different from the California version, but I still think its great.

I still enjoy exploring Future World as a whole. Yes I'm not a fan of the Test Track revamp, Imagination, or Captain EO and the Nemo ride could use a better plot, but the place still works out overall. I love every moment of exploring the space.

Maelstrom is one of my childhood favorites. I get sad when its over every time. I want MORE!

I could on and on about what I love about WS and Illuminations, but you said no alcohol and my hand is usually holding a drink during both those experiences...

If it were two parks then I'd say the world showcase may be my favorite part of Disney, but with Future World I can't say Epcot is my favorite (a lot of wasted space, empty buildings, and outdated technology showcased). Though, I'll hold back my issues, as I do quite enjoy the world showcase. Always enjoyable going in through all the shops and relaxing in one of the tucked away corners.

First, let me say that my family loves ALL the Disney parks... but we voted and Epcot is our least favorite of the 4. However, we still like a lot of things about it. My favorite attraction may be a little goofy, but I really enjoy Living with the Land, but then again, I like all the slow-moving boat rides at all the parks (even IASW).
I'm exactly the same! (My DH hates that I always make him go on IASW ;)).
I like Living With The Land because, although it's not a big thrill ride, it's something different. I could go an hour away from here and go to a theme park with just thrill rides, but it's the smaller attractions, the 'different' experiences and the whole atmosphere that makes WDW special, and sets it apart from run of the mill theme parks.

I thought you had to be 21???

Yes, but that would be a college junior or senior! Ya know, Freshmen are between 17-19, Sophomores are 18-20, Juniors are 19-21, you get it.

Actually, in certain states, it's legal to drink if an immediate family member gives it to you. And in Puerto Rico, the legal drinking age it 18. States technically define their own drinking laws, but the federal government gives them extra money for setting it at 21.
