Do you get a resort card when you stay at a WDW resort? Something that's tied to your CC on account at the hotel? Something that you can charge things in the parks to instead of having to bring cash or CC?
We do this all the time no need for cash. Ofcourse the bill at the end the vacation is a shock.
I had no idea there was a credit limit. They didn't tell me that when I started at the resort last year.
If this limit is new, over what time period is it? We go for 14 nights minimum so $1500 is easy do able for us. We are DVCers does that matter ????
It's not new, been there for years, at least since 2003, if not before.
It's only a stop gap, you just need to call to tell them to push it through and then you have another $1500 to go. (or $500 for value, $1000 for mods)
It's so someone doesn't get your Key to the World card and max it out.
Double check that, because there is most certainly a KTTW max charge limit (note, without clearing it). I think it is actually tied into the general room charges system, as the only people who can clear it are people at the resorts. And they do this by initiating a charge on the card on file, or if someone pays them in other tender at the front desk.I had no idea there was a credit limit. They didn't tell me that when I started at the resort last year.
