Also in :). XXXX! (Topic Lock equivalent of "BOO!").
@Trotsky
No...it really isn't. I googled it after someone else brought it up and...it's not like saying "Boo!" at all. It's like saying something crass, vulgar and gross all at once.

Always google ANYTHING @PhotoDave219 says before re-using it on the boards. Or just don't google what he says and spare yourself the horror I endure on a routine basis. ;)

Dave, do you see what you've started?!

I don't think it's controversial at all. It's just crassly vulgar.

I really thought you didn't know what it meant. Wasn't trying to play Mini Mod. :)

eye of the beholder luv.....

( also wasn't the thread locked because of how it broke down and people went after eachother? it wasn't the topic itself that was the problem. I mean if anything locks this thread it'll be the fact none of us have discussed anything about the actual topic and just wrote IB4L or played slang word of the day starring luv.I am already looking foreword to tomorrows word)

Well, people who abuse "the system" make it harder for all of us.:( The article, be it true or false, brings up some valid points about handicapped folks. Disney accommodates Handicapped folks quite well IMHO. My Mom was treated like a princess as she was in a scooter. The CMs bent over backwards to make her feel welcomed and comfortable!:) That's why I enjoy Disney so much. Just remember "a spoonful of sugar..." Smile at people. Talk to people. Be friendly. Enjoy your vacation! Be kind to others, especially the handicapped folks. They deserve our respect. That's just my 2 cents. When I was younger, I worked at a Summer Day Camp for handicapped kids. That was such an eye opener, yet so rewarding and fun!:D I guess that's why I have the utmost respect for handicapped kids and their parents. However, this person, rich or not, shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of a "good" system that Disney has in place.;) Just MHO.;)

The story made Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. Something to the effect that bringing handicapped people to the park for this purpose is now being called the "Take a Wish" Foundation.
So funny, I will have to go watch this on demand just to see this story. It's shameful what some people will do to try to even the odds on a level playing field!

Have to get my 2 cents in!

This is Disney's fault. Yes, people are selfish cheaters, but we know that. WDW makes the GAC too appealing. There are many things that Disney could do to still accommodate those who need it without making it so appealing to the cheaters.

But they don't improve the program because those things would cost money. Disney doesn't care because it's not their money and time being stolen.
