So, with MNSSHP dated Sept 13th, will Unleash the Villains still be going on at the same time at HS? It seems kind of silly for Disney to go up against itself.

I just dont know how many people will choose MNSSHP which is $56.00(I think) a ticket VS a free, one time special event with the villains.I would say yes. Halloween events in MK, Epcot, and DHS at the same time...I see it as a positive thing

Many people who go to MNSSHP use the party as their "day" in the park. They get in at 4PM and stay till close.
Looking at it that way, the DHS event isn't free and still takes a day's paid admission.

Yup and they've got an Epcot pin event planned for it too with a pin set with a storyline of "13 Disney Villains versus a group of seven that is the Fab Four plus Figment and the Chipmunks". It's like the pin artists found my old fanfiction.

I for one am very excited...this weekend will be perfect for some of the things we love, Character M&G's and Pin Trading...we are getting in on the 13th and are going to do MNSSHP on the 17th, so now we just need to get tickets for the Pin Trading and we will have a super magical week (not that we wouldn't have anyways). I know for most the Limited Time Magic has been a flop, but I live in Houston and have planned two trips around the events they had...so for me it has been great.

Well, I don't see how it matters considering Disney gets their money either way, appealing to two different "age groups", and there are 20 other MNSSHPs happening

How do you pick which one to go to... We got our MNSSHP for the 13th. I didn't want to do the Villains Party because it was going to be a dance party. Which would mean no pictures with Villains. At least at Mickey's we get the chance for pictures. But then a pin trading event... Dang, I love pins. I get 10-15 each trip! UGH
I heard the villains WILL be walking around for pictures and its not just a dance party.
I thought the Unleash the Villains was a full day and night(until the 13th hour...1am) event. MNSSHP is only from 7-12. If people come in at 4pm before the actual party starts, wouldnt they have to buy a ticket on top of their already purchased MNSSHP ticket?
Good. Let everyone go to MNSSHP on the 13th so I can have some elbow room at the Unleash the Villains party.

Unleash the Villains is supposed to start around 6pm-1am...MK will let you in with your MNSSHP ticket about 4pm...neither is a full-day event.
