If we are playing this game, also avoid Flying Fish, Sanaa, and le Chefs. And whatever you do dont eat at 50's Prime Time or Yak & Yeti. In fact dont make reservations anywhere, just eat quick service. That being said, I will be enjoying my Marrakesh meal in 22 days!!! HURRAY! And then Flying Fish in 23 Days!!! And then 50's PT in 24 Days!!! And then BOG (first time) in 25 days!!! ok ill stop!

All those places are pretty good. And I've happily enjoyed my meals there :) One man's trash is another man's treasure. So enjoy your meal at Marratrash! :) Just kidding :P Enjoy, really.

I'am not being sarcastic here, but I ate there last year and none of us were impressed,it was just ok,but a bit like our first and only experience at Le Celiier. Whit is all the fuss about? Am I missing something here. Have been to Morocco on holiday and the food was miles better and tasted more authentic. :(

whatever you think about marrakesh, there's probably a good reason why the food was more authentic in, ya know...actual morocco.

Correct.I spoke to someone at Kouzzinas and asked about a Greek/Cypriot dish which was on the menu.Completely different than what I had in Greece.Every region in every country has a alternative twist to local dishes. However my Marrakesh dish was very uninspiring.

Agreed with, well, seems almost everyone else. I love Moroccan food but eating there I remember leaving and feeling so underwhelmed. It really wasn't very good, and I'd seek out Moroccan food given the chance.

And the belly dancers? Every trip it's made uncomfortable by boys inches from their voice dropping and sweaty creepy dads with video cameras oogling them. Last trip we were uncomfortably laughing at a boy who almost tripped over our table trying to drool after the dancer.

The place needs enough business to stay open for lunch, but not so much that the benefits of lunch at present (like being able to actually walk in, and with lesser crowds having a much better ambience)...

i'm just teasin' ya. it's interesting. anecdotally, i find this to be one of the most polarizing restaurants on property. people seem to either love it or hate it. i enjoy it, especially for that atmosphere. that said, it's usually only a once and a while ADR for us.

I have never been to Restaurant Marrakesh but the reviews are always love it or hate it.

My concern is why add Spice Road Table if there are possible improvements or menu revisions that could be better spent on making Marrakesh superb?

That Yak & Yeti looks goo-oo-ood! We plan to do QS lunch there during our June trip.

Oh don't worry. I won't be recommending it. It's horrible.

I'm the jedi master of hyperbole and pure sarcasm, but not this time. It was bad. Just aweful. Don't know why everyone says it's so great.

I feel the same way about Jiko at AKL. It was the best meal I have had at WDW (or a lot of places for that matter). But let's just keep that secret too!
