Restaurant Rethink!?!

What restaurant/s do you feel could use a refurb or just an overall rethink? What would you do to improve or change them?

The Refreshment Port right outside Canada needs to be removed so the Mouse can finally take my idea of placing a pub where the store used to be and a small QS up on the terrace before decending to O' Canada so all guests can enjoy our neighbors to the norths treats and not have to wait to maybe get an ADR at Le Cellier. Also it's time to bring back the beaver tails so that when I am entering through International Gateway in the morning I can have one for breakfast!

Sommerfest's dining area is crowded especially with Biergarten being right next door and guests walking around the court yard shopping. So why not open up the area behind the mural once intended for Germany's ride and turn it into a better seatting area. Plus expand the offerings on the menu, include Potato pancakes and other fare from Germany so guest have more variety to choose from instead of just Bratwurst and pretzels.

Lastly Yorkshire Fish & Chips has little to no seating and at a certain time at night it is closed off for private viewings of Illuminations. Maybe moving the Fish Shop in general and creating a larger dining area across the way or towards the back of the pavilion would be better off. Also I'm sure our friends across the pond would like to share with us that they eat other things than just fried fish and potatos so as I mentioned before with Sommerfest Expand the Menu!

Ok it's your turn: :)

I have a few more:

Since I have been to DLR and noticed how much more they seem to have in dining options I think its time to:

Reopen the Adventureland Verandah as the Bengal Barbecue from Disneyland! Yum!!!

Keep Tortuga Tavern open all the time and continue to serve the flavors of the Carribean and Mexican food but close the Golden Oak outpost or at least move it closer to BTMRR to spread out the dining in Frontierland.

Turn the Diamond Horseshoe into Tiana's Southern Buffet and add a Princess and the Frog show at night.

Change the menu at Pinocchio's Village Haus to only Italian food and Friar Nooks to German food while also keeping it open all year long.

Finally have Tomorrowland Terrace open all the time as well but only serve Asian fare!

Make these changes and there will be many culinary options around the park for all tastes!

I love the idea of Tiana's coming in where the Diamond Horseshoe is right now and I love the Bengal BBQ idea for Adventureland!
Not so sure about Friar Nooks serving German food only though.

I would keep the freshly made chips but remove the same old same old chicken baskets & hot dogs and replace them with a menu like Sommerfests in Epcots Germany.

I'd rather see some other type of food go in there, since we have that stuff at Sommerfest and Bratwursts arent too far off from the hot dogs and stuff.
Friar Nooks could have Spanish food or something different. Not quite sure what.

I wish they'd add the Rhine River ride to Germany, but if not, then this is a great idea...

Hollywood and Vile!!! Just burn it down and start over!!! Any theme ok with me and as for food just make it edible!

I take it you are not a fan of H&V lol! If they are going to do this then I think it is time to go ahead and revamp the menu at ABC's Commisary to something close to mediocre.

I agree with Yorkshire Fish and Chips! That is my favorite stop at Epcot and I can NEVER find seating. So we pick a bench and watch the seagull stalk our food! Also, great idea with the Pirates restaurant. I would be a huge fan!

We also loved the Bengal Barbecue when we were at Disneyland and the New Orleans themed resturant was a favorite of the kids, my little boy orders gumbo any time he sees it on a menu! It would be nice to have asian at Tomorrowland Terrace, just some great Lo Mein would be a brilliant addition. Brats and potato pancakes at Friar Nooks or Pinocchio's would hit the spot. The idea of incorporating Tiana into a New Orleans themed area is an exceptional idea, now if someone would just listen.....
