Friends in Entertainment are saying that an announcement has been made declaring that Countdown To Fun will be closing around April 6th. No news on what will be replacing it, if anything.

The Pixar daytime parade that is going on currently at DHS. It replaced BPB about a year and a half ago. Not many execs/guests were thrilled about this new parade and BPB leaving, so I'm not suprised this is out the door and hopefully BPB will make it's return.

Well it was nice to dream for a minute. Anyhow, any idea on what the new parade will be?

The only reason I can see this being justified is the announcement of an expansion. There's no way for a replacement to come at least for a month considering the rehearsals that would have to happen first.

And no, BPB is definitely NOT returning.

Nothing about a replacement has been announced to the parade performers yet. So either there isn't a replacement, or it's being kept under wraps for the time being. :/

Same here. I would love to see a parade that involves ALL Disney film characters, instead of just Pixar.

I would rather have this parade than nothing. I honestly enjoy it. But it just seems absurd to me to pull a parade right before summer, so all I can do is hope that something awesome could replace it.

I just hope this is news for a whole new "idea" at DHS. I will miss the parade, but hopefully something even better will replace it!

There is three things I could think of that would cause the parade to be gone.

The first thing I could think of is the budget for entertainment for DHS has been cut.

The 2nd thing I could think of is what Hollywoodj mentioned about an announcement of an expansion.

The 3rd thing I could think of is Disney is planning "new for summer attraction" happening at DHS.

Was thinking the same line lol when I saw the thread. I just hope they are going to have a replacement unless its a expansion/construction issue. First spectro not coming back and now maybe no parade at the studios = tdo getting worse all the time. Hoping for something new.

When they started the over hall of DCA they stopped the parades because the extent of the construction was going to disrupt the parade routes. I doubt this is the reason for the DHS parade being canceled, but you never know.
