A Taste of Disney Opening on I-95: Earl of Sandwich!

Wasn't sure where exactly to post this but wanted to let everyone know that if you are planning on driving on I-95 from the north to Disney (or anywhere else) there is an Earl of Sandwich opening at the first rest stop in Maryland when you are coming from the north. I think that one is the Chesapeake House. I am not sure if it is open yet but the signs are up. They got rid of all the businesses that were in there and all new ones came in. We drove by it on our way to a work meeting in Beltsville, MD. Boss didn't stop since they got rid of the Starbucks at that stop! I know you always drive from ME @derelicte19!

Oh dear, I do believe I am going to have to make the trip up from NOVA just to get my Earl's fix...my only problem is going to be the temptation to ask if I could use it as a quick service meal plan.
I hear ya! It is probably about an 1 1/2 hours from my house in NJ. I think I need to take a few sightseeing trips to Baltimore soon! I wonder if rest stop Earl's is as good as Disney Earl's?

If you come to Boston, there is now an Earl's right on Boston Common. It's open year-round but doesn't have indoor seating, only outdoor patio seating. I haven't stopped there yet to see if they have a full menu, been waiting for warmer weather. But I'll definitely be stopping by when I can grab a sandwich and sit outside in the sun.

I had heard about the Boston one a bit ago. I've only been to Boston once but I will keep it in mind if I am up that way!

We have an upcoming drive that'll take us through I-95 in a couple of weeks. If anyone knows for sure if this is open yet, please post!! I would try to plan for a meal time here if possible.

Thanks!

My cousin goes to school at Emerson, which is right near the Common and he told me they are only open during the spring/summer/fall months. I have not been down to Boston yet, but I definitely plan on stopping by while I'm there.

I was just about to say this. I have been waiting for much the same reason, as I don't want to sit in the cold to eat a sandwich, but I am pretty pumped to try it out when spring rolls around.

We can only hope...I tried to hit the Earl up when I was overseas but never got a chance. Somehow I was afraid I would be disappointed.

Earls, and places like Shlotzsky's, are common in every part of this country except for in the dirty Jerz...Everytime i take a trip from good ole EWR to anywhere else I'll usually hunt down at Schlotzsky's
