In Room surprises

Does anyone know if I can buy somethings for our trip and have them put in our room before we get to it? I was gonna go buy somethings from the disney store and I know they probably won't ship it to my room.

Since your room isn't 100% yours until you check in at the front desk (although the odds are greater if you are staying Concierge level), nothing can be in your room until after you have checked in.

What usually happens is you can have something sent to the resort, and then usually after the room has been assigned, they will either deliver it to your room, or tell you that something is waiting for you at the front desk.

Yep! Loads to do! I surprised my DH with the Mickey Grand Celebration or something like that. Also, surprised him with Stockings in our room at Christmas. I just went through the florist. http://www.disneyflorist.com/?source=header

I had something placed in our room before we arrived on our last trip (it was part of my proposal to my now fiancee). I was told while planning for this that the only way you can have something waiting in your room for when you arrive is if you are staying CL or staying DVC (we happened to be staying CL). The only way they might be able to get something in your room for when you first get there is if your room is not ready when you check-in. If you have a nice enough CM check you in, you can have it arranged to be placed in your room for when you return to the resort after heading out to the parks or whatnot.

If you are looking to put together a nice surprise for someone, I would highly highly highly recommend Memories By Betsy. Betsy was awesome and a real pleasure to work with. She can make you a custom basket with anything in it for you (I think all that can't be put in the basket is alcohol). She is reasonably priced, easy to work with, is completely customizable and really quick with getting back to you (none of which I found to be true with DisneyFlorist). The basket she had made up for me for my proposal was a Mickey Trick or Treat bucket with a Jack and a Sally plush doll (from Nightmare Before Christmas) and a light up ghost lanyard. The real surprise was inside the Trick or Treat bucket was a 5" glass slipper with "Let's Live Happily Ever After" engraved on it. I also ordered a nice fall arrangement of flowers from her which was beautiful (and laster our whole 12 day stay).

I read somewhere, I was thinking it was allears.net, that someone purchased items and had it sent to the hotel they were staying at and the staff put it in the room for them. I tried to find the "tip" that i read but couldn't find it.

I would definatly call the hotel and ask them if they could do it for you.
