Does Chef Mickey/1900 Park Fare provide photos with meal price

Hi All,

Okay, so I know places like CRT provide a photo with your meal. Also, if you have PP+ you get all the photos with dining. But if you are using dining plan to have character meals - like at 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey - I can't recall if they give you the photos as part of your meal or do you have to buy them extra. I know 1900 Park Fare used to (a few years back) take a pic with Bert and Mary out front and it was a typical PP photographer that added to your card or he used your camera. I am not sure when it started but in 2011 when mom and I went to WDW, they started the stupid backdrop picture and you could purchase it if you wanted. Is that still what they do for 1900 park fare - even for dinner? Is the photo still a back drop photo or is it with character? And is it included in price of meal? Its also been years since DH and I ate at Chef Mickey and again - back droop of plate photo that you had to buy if you wanted it. Its been years though since we went there. Is this still what they do? Again, this will be a dinner meal.

Don't know about 1900 Park Fare, as we haven't eaten there yet, but Chef Mickey's gives you the picture package. We ate there for dinner in September. The food wasn't great but, it was a fun atmosphere!:)

I have eaten at both places including in May & Nov 2012 (dinner at PF, lunch at CM), and neither include the cost of the picture package in your meal cost. It is a separate optional charge. It is a backdrop picture taken with their equipment. If I recall it was approx $36 for the photo package if you wanted it.

This is what I remember. That its just a cut out/backdrop and you can buy it extra if you want it unless you have photopass+. Thanks! I got excited but this is what I remember too.

We had the dining plan & photopass+ & it was included at Chef Mickey's. We didn't pay extra. We got a free 5X7 and 4 3x5.

Correct. CRT and Akershus are the only two where it is included in the price. Every other dining location that offers the picture it is an additional cost, unless you have the PhotoPass+, in which case it is free.

Yes, they are correct. We have been to many character meals and many of them several times each. CRT and Akerhus are the only 2 that it is included in the price. Other wise be ready to cough up $20-30 buck. Off the top of my head I think it is around $25 but I may be wrong, or it could vary.

I just realized its been about two years since I've been to CM! Guess I need to go back, lol.

When I last went, you had to buy the pictures if you wanted them, which we didn't. :)

I wish they would go back to Mary and Bert rather then the ridiculous painted wall. I don't get it. I just don't get it. I don't usually pay for the back drop or card board cut out pics (like at Chef Mickey) but that is why I love PP+ b/c you get them anyway.

CAn you now just add this onto your Photopass???

That would be much better for us; we have cupboards full of unused keyrings and fridge magnets. Getting these pics of PP would suit us much better. (and save some $$$)

No, you have to buy the photopass +. You can not add it to the photopass card you get in the parks or with your mickey mail or even if preorder the photopass disk. You have to specifically buy photopass +.
