Limited Time Magic. Let's help out TDO with ideas!

So far comparing WDW with DL during LTM, WDW is coming up with more Limited and less magic.
(I wouldn't even have come up with this thread if WDW was getting what DL got)

Let's help them out with ideas with what we would like to have here on the east coast.

Here's my initial toss in- For one week, heck maybe two, choose one attraction and turn on all of the effects! I'm not talking about fixing the Yeti or re-imagining Journey Into Imagination. I'm talking about flipping some flipping switches.

Like Dinosaur for example. Have the imagineers watch Martins vid and then go turn on every switch for every effect, set the audio levels to where they were intended and give us DINOSAUR!

Or Splash Mountain (when it reopens) have those dang turtle fountains jumping. Turn on the water canons to soak the guests. Its a water ride. Get soaked or don't ride for week! Have the bunny jumping and the boat a rockin with every animatronic singing.

I could go on but you get the point.

What would you like to see TDO do for Limited Time Magic in WDW? Maybe someone will listen.

Remember counting backwards at a dance party and meeting a character in Canada are already taken.

What I would do is pick one dark ride a week, say, Mansion, Pirates, Spaceship Earth, Space Mountain, etc. and run it lights-on for the last couple hours of operation.
If this were announced far enough in advance they would sell all kinds of tickets.

Run Boo-To-You and all Halloween Activities for Day Guests on October 30th and 31st.

Run Enchanted Adventures for a Week or Two (or Hell the Whole Summer) give the Electrical Parade a rest and refurb if it's gonna stick around for another 3-4 years.

Run Celebrate America for the entire Fourth of July Week.

Run Magic, Music, and Mayhem During Pirate Week.

Have a Haunted Mansion Week in October where you can get a Pirates League Style Makeover into a Haunted Mansion Maid/Butler. Meet the Hitchhiking Ghosts, and Jack and Sally.

Run Another Pixar Weekend for the Release of Monster's University.

Easter Week Meet and Greets with the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg Hunts at the Resorts.

Chinese New Year Celebration in China at EPCOT.

Oktoberfest Celebration in Germany at EPCOT.

Run a Comedy Warehouse April Fools Special at Studios. (I actually really like this idea now that I think of it, PLEASE do this! I'm sure everyone who loves the Christmas Special would be grateful!)

Anyway, That's just a few things off the top of my head. I don't really have high hopes, but I'm hoping at least one of them comes true.

Run Celebrate America for the entire Fourth of July Week.

They've already been doing the Celebrate America fireworks this way at Disneyland for a few years. I'm sure Orlando will catch on eventually, and Limited Time Magic is as good of an excuse as any.

How about add more EMH's at MK? This will make more "adult" time. Besides, during our one week trip, not one single day of MK EMH! I'd rather stay up late than wake up early. Very disappointing.

I could see Tower of Terror, Star Tours and Toy Story getting themed updates for 1 week happening.

Bringin back old parades (Spectro, Tapestry of Nations) would be good choices.

Perimiter Fireworks at MK not for a special event. Same with Studios Fireworks.

CMs wearing retro costumes would be amusing...

I love the idea of this and am kin of shocked people didn't run with created their own LTM event. so without starting a brand new thread on getting people's ideas I'm diggin this unappreciated beauty back up.

so my idea for a limited time magic is this. seeing as we have noticed that these are smaller events, ( and in some cases just merch for the sale of merch, like a truck t shirt commemorating that you got your t shirt from a truck...?) I figure I'll sort of stay along the merch lines combined with a unique , helpful twist.

I'm calling it Rock n Roll for SOUL week. ( or perhaps Disney heart and SOUL week) during this extra special week Disney will remove Aerosmith from rock n roller coaster. in its place will be ( I know this is a new idea from me) Bon Jovi. for this one week the ride will vary with a new pre show as well. however this time we are moving away from going to see a star, and becoming stars ourselves.
Jon instead will be in the pre show explaining to us what the soul kitchen is and the work they do. he will also mention that for everyone in attendance to this speech, Disney will donate (x) cents per person. As a special thank you Jon has ordered a limo (gotta keep the theme somehow) to take us all to a special SOUL kitchen Galla.
obviously the music on the ride will be Bon Jovi and Disney will also sell limited edition merch (including premium merch like a signed t shirt for the ltm event) with portions of proceeds going directly to the Soul foundation.

we get a cool little special thing for the week others do t get, we hear great music, we make a great difference. the event may not be big, but it can make a big difference, and it would at least be slightly above another pointless LTM
