First we have the food programs which means unless you book 6 months in advance you can not eat in the full service restaurant of your choice.

Second now we can plan minute by minute what attraction you like to ride !!!!!

Coming soon Washroom Pass !!!
Can picture it now, talk the CM..... I REALLLY GOT TOOO GOOO!!!!
Sorry sir, you should of booked your "Washroom Pass" for 10:25am you are booked for 1:15pm you just have to wait..... New time sir, plan your day more carefully.

We usually go in the off season and the need for 6-month ADR's are a pet peeve of mine as well but honestly we usually have luck doing walk ups and rarely wait more than a half hour. I am sure that is not a reality in the busy season though.

I'm all for it. You can make your reservations ahead of time or use the kiosk out front. The nice thing is that you can wave your RFID card in front of the urinal or commode to flush. Its more sanitary that way. This system will also be in place for toilet paper. It will dispense 15 squares at a time. Be careful though, if you try to use too much, a ticket will come out reminding you that this is not valid TP and you'll have to wait before your next visit to get a new set of squares.

While a washroom pass would probably cost a small fortune, the Disney Discount Washroom Pass (DDWP on this forum) would involve an old milk carton with a Mickey silhouette on the side. $8.95, plus tax. No waiting.

How about Washroom Pass and Washroom Pass Plus? Plus allows you to reserve your... relief time in advance (GREAT for senior citizens who go at the same times every day), while regular Washroom Pass requires you to grab a ticket and return during the 10 minute window currently being distributed.

And you can add the WRP (WashRoom Plan) to your reservation. You get x amount of points. You use more points to sit (if you're a dude) and themed restrooms also cost more.

Wow the first time this tired old joke has actually gotten an entire thread.

You know what's tiresome? Mamby-pamby complaints about reservations. This is the way the world works. If you want to do the cool things in life you need to make reservations.

It's not just WDW. If you want to visit the bottom of the Grand Canyon you need to get a backcountry pass six months out, and during the busy season you better make sure you have your application faxed in by 8 AM. If you want a cabin down there you need to get on the stick 13 months out.

Go to New York and try and get a ticket to a Broadway show on the spur of the moment. You'll either pay a premium to a scalper or see the second rate shows--if you're lucky.

I got stuck in Zurich last month due to the hurricane and when I was trying to make dinner reservations the day of, everything the hotel staff recommended was booked. I survived. I ate at counter service places and airport "restaurants".

This is the way the world works.

If you want the best things at the busies places on Earth you need to be prepared. So please stop crying about it, accept it, and move on.

Try the coolest things on earth needs reservations? Lol! No not at all. Doing 160+ on the uphill eases at VIR does not require reservations. Five star restaurants near me do not require reservations to get in if you want any hope of eating. Waterskiing on wakes of cargo ships require no reservations. Hmmm seems like the best things don't require reservations but suck the fun out of things. Creates an additional hassle.

It's funny how reservations could be made same day until a decade or so ago.

Funny how WDW worked fine until then.

Yep, everything was better ten years ago. The attractions were better. The parades were better. The food was better. Even the people were better.

Yet somehow more and more people keep showing up.

And as is the norm with the "reminiscers" the memory and the reality don't really match. In 2002 reservations were an absolute must in the busy season and needed for the top spots even in September and January.

This past August we walked into Yak & Yeti, Hollywood Brown Derby and San Angelo without reservations. Longest wait 10 min. We routinely walk-up, just don't try peak hours.

A couple of things:

a). Harmless joking about using the toilet should not cause this much aggression. Lighten up.
b). Nobody forced you against your will to come into this thread or take part in it's contents.
c). Seriously dude, you really need to lighten up.
d). Defecating in public restrooms is not a privilege...it is a right. If we feel that Disney offering an ADR program for such activities would make the process less stressful, that too is our right. Now if you'll excuse me. My morning constitutions for our March '13 trip are being planned for the 10:00am time frame in the Frontierland vicinity. Thank you.

A few things:

1. I do not appreciate your personal attack or your advice on what I should do.
2. You need to keep you opinions about me, and other posters for that matter, to yourself.
3. No one forced you to read my comments or respond.
4. You should be banned from these forums and prosecuted for impersonating and defaming a public figure--putting a disclaimer in your profile doesn't protect you from legal action.

So it's safe to assume you're not having a good day, correct?. No worries, mate. With every new sunrise comes new opportunities. :)

Hope your day gets better! (p.s. Feel free to re-read the "Lighten Up" part of my earlier post. Sound advice).

We've been trying to get a walk up for four years now for Sci Fi Dine. Don't mention Le Cellier.

I'm sure you'll remember back when making reservations was an attraction in itself, at the Worldkey Stations. :)

Good ol' EPCOT Center, the place even invented making reservations via a remote computer that was connected to Disney's central computer system, every station connected to the other as on a spider's web. (Move over Al Gore, you didn't invent the internet, Card Walker did)

Also, how the .... did this fun thread nearly went down the toilet? (Pun!)

Flexibility and avoid peak dinning hours. You don't always get your first choice but there are options. Now, we're going back in April and I'll get ADR's for Le Cellier and Narcossees.
