OK....I have 62 days left and I am at Disney!!! All my ADR's are set and once again I'm questioning one of my choices. We have an ADR at Kona for dinner. We ate there on the last trip and my sister and myself really like it! My DD wasn't thrilled, since it isn't well themed with being right off the lobby. This trip we are also eating at Kona for Breakfast and a dinner at 'Ohana. We have never ate anywhere at the Grand Floridian and have an ADR for 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Anyone have any tips out there to help me?????

I think that dinner is the best meal to have at Kona. The pineapple bread with macadamia nut butter is good stuff. They also offer items from the sushi bar at dinner only. Those two things put it head and shoulders above breakfast and lunch service for me. For breakfast or lunch, I would strongly encourage you to switch to the Grand Floridian Café, but for dinner, stick to Kona.

That pineapple bread is so good! I'll check the breakfast menu at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I do love the pineapple-macadamia nut pancakes at Kona though! What's good for breakfast at the GFC?

I know you mentioned 1900 Park Fare. Could you possibly do a breakfast there and then do lunch at Kona and Dinner at O'Hana?

It's dinner with Cinderella and her stepsisters on the last night as a surprise for my DD. She should really like the "characters" there. Thanks for the suggestion though!

As for Kona I prefer breakfast over dinner. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy dinner, but I absolutely love the breakfast there. We tried GFC for lunch last visit and I thought it was pretty good. We will be having our first dinner there this weekend on our trip. I think you will really enjoy 1900 Park Fare. To me, it is the best character meal in WDW.

I highly recommend Kona. I've eaten there a few times and never had a bad meal. The sushi is delicious as are the sticky wings for two. They easily make a meal for one and are beyond delicious!!

For dinner definitely Kona but I have to say we had breakfast at GFC twice last year and really enjoyed, it always seemed on the quiet side, food was good service very good. Honestly you can't go wrong with either!

Do whichever pleases you and whom ever you're going with. I chose the GFC simply because of the menu options better fit my girlfriends taste. Im Sure both are wonderful
