We ate at Portobello's at DTD last week and were incredibly disappointed. It was truly the only disappointment we had.

So sorry to hear that.:( I was a bit disappointed w/ 'Ohana Character breakfast food- not hot enough. 1900 Park Fare was just too loud and crowded, but the buffet was pretty good. I know the feeling about being disappointed w/ some things on your trip. Do tell more...

Would love to hear more...we have only had one meal that we didn't care for, and it was Tuttos. It was by no means awful, just weren't impressed. We have considered Portobello’s before but have never made a ressie.

The service was extremely slow and poor. The food wasn't any better. I had spaghetti and meatballs which tasted like the came out of a can and my hubby had a pizza which wasn't very good at all. I just wanted to share our experience as I never see anything written about this restaurant.

When we went in March, the service was at a snail's pace! It took us over an hour just to get our food! The food itself was pretty good, but I would never go back.

Luckily, I haven't had that experience. I can be pretty particular about Italian food, and Portobello is one of only two Italian restaurants on Disney property that I think is worthy of a visit (the other, Il Mulino, is the best by a country mile). Portobello didn't impress us the first time we went, but we tried it again after the management change a few years ago. I think it's much improved. I didn't feel that our service was too slow on our previous visits, but then again I like a leisurely-paced meal. I also really like their bar and the appetizers they serve there. We went on our last visit and are heading back on our next.
