Your number 1 fun restaurant.

I was asked yesterday about my trip this year and got asked this odd question.Which restaurant did you have the most fun at? They were at WDW last year with there two kids 6 & 8 and they had a great Disney experience at 50's Prime Time,so much so,they ate there four times during their stay,(14 days ) We have ate there in the past and enjoyed the retro style atmosphere and the CM'S are real fun.But this year our number one fun restaurant would have to go to T-Rex.The food was better than I was expecting, but the look on some kids faces as dinosaurs came to life was priceless. So what is your favourite fun restaurant?:)

We don't have a #1 fun place because that would vary per trip, but on our last trip Hoop Dee Doo gets the prize! Good food, fun show, swinging napkins, and even washboards to play make it special.

I tend to stick with restaurants that hold the most memories for us. Love Chef Mickeys, Ohana is my fav, Le Cellier and Raglan Road. Haven't been to T-Rex so thats something I need to try. Although we havent eaten at Bongos, sitting outside with a margarita and people watching was alot of fun two years ago (last visit).

Another vote for Whispering Canyon, we had breakfast there once for my dear wife's birthday and once for my dear son''s. Each breakfast was mayhem as the staff and manager really got into it making their birthday memorable.

Does Jellyrolls count? No? In that case, I think California Grill would be my choice. We always have a great time there.
Ok Iam curious.I was at Cali Grill in July this year,it was awesome from starters to main courses and even the pairing of the wine was perfect,it was serious cuisine and a gastronomic night out but I wouldn't class it as a fun experience, unless you were involved in a cupcake food fight, now that's what Iam talking about.;)

Admittedly, I have a different idea of fun than many here. We're not character meal/dinner show type people. The antics at places like '50s put us off rather than making us laugh. I have the most fun when I can have a good conversation with my partner over nice food and drink. The lively, celebratory atmosphere at a place like California Grill or Kouzzina is my idea of a fun restaurant.

Point taken.I take it there's just two of you,if that's the case then yes, when it's just the DW & myself then it's a different ball game,so to speak.:)

Ok- we should (should) be trying TRex in November so I can weigh in on that if they don't lose our ressie and the girls don't run in terror from the dinosaurs...but from what we/I have done, 50s PT is #1 for me with honorable mention going to Hollywood & Vine breakfast. Although, Cali Grill during Wishes has a whole different kind of fun.

Well, I guess HDDR, but that is more than a restaurant.

For me, for fun (not necessarily food), it has to be 50's or WCC. Character meals are fun, too.
