Hey All,

Looking for something new at DHS - what is your fave DHS counter service restaurant and why?

Thanks!

Starring rolls because cupcakes. And the cupcakes can be the dessert along with the rest of the meal! :D
UMMMM! Love the tiramisu there, and they have sandwiches. They used to have sushi. I may catch grief for this, but we like the pizza planet too! Reason being is that my daughters were soooo little when it opened, and the arcade was really neat at that young age. We still spend a few bucks trying to win a prize. Food is acceptable only because f the memories the joint brings.

Starring Roles no question. Their sandwiches are the best QS food item outside of chicken fingers. I go for the turkey. Not the best sandwiches ever, but definitely good enough.

i like the somewhat recent menu changes at studio catering company. i had the buffalo chicken sandwich and thought it was quite good! my only complaint is i wish they served kettle chips instead of fries.

We rarely eat CS at the Studios other than the much praised Starring Rolls as we've never found them to be very good. However this year there was a cloudburst as we were passing Studio Catering Co so we popped in there for a quick lunch instead of getting soaked. I had a quite acceptable turkey club sandwich, I was very pleasantly surprised. Nice cocktails at the little bar at the side too :)

Well apart from the obvious Starring Rolls,I did enjoy Studios Catering. To be honest, there's not alot to choose from. The toasted Tuscan deli was very good as was my DW buffalo chicken sandwich and my DS had no complaints about his chicken wrap.:)

Best of a bad bunch but I quite like Pizza Planet, had a Meat Lovers (I think it was called) there last Thursday and quite enjoyed it, not that it's anything on Wolfgang Puck Express pizza, the Pepperoni one is amazing!

Starring Rolls sounds like the lead! I probably should have added a poll before posting. I went through the menus at all the CS. And I will agree, there isn't a lot. I think DHS needs a seriously foodie makeover. We don't like any of the TS (we used to like BD) and now stuck trying to find a CS. We actually don't mind Pizza Planet so we have never tried anything else. Now we need/want to find something new.

Oh - can you eat while you wait for Fantasmic? Like a hotdog or something?

I know Pizza Planet doesn't get much love, but we really enjoy it. It's a nice break from the typical burgers at the counter service places. We somehow seem to end up there for lunch every time we visit DHS. It's far from gourmet pizza, but I think a nice personal sized cheese pizza and a garden salad is a perfect lunch.

It is a nice lunch!! When you factor in convenience, it really hits the spot. Being able to just walk up, order, and sit makes a big difference. We have had to stalk guests about to leave to find a place to sit, but not that often.

I like Backlot and Pizza Planet. I like that at Pizza Planet, at least on the dining plan, a salad comes with the meal. A little bit of healthy in my vacation of unhealthy eating!
