We plan to go the 25th..but do not have tickets and dont plan to buy until a few days beforehand ( just in case the weather is nasty etc). Can I buy these at POFQ? Also where do you turn them in for your wristbands?

You get the wristbands at the gate if you aren't already in the park. They start around 3 giving them out if you are already in the park.
Both times we've been, it was a sell-out according to the sign on the parking entrance, so don't wait too long.

If it's a sell out I dont wanna be there anyway.it's over $400 to get us tickets.. no desire to waste that much money honestly.

We wont already be in the park..dont plan to arrive until after 5-6pm

Oh. It's not like that. They really limit those tickets. Even on the sold-out nights, the crowds were not very large. We could get on everything with no problem. At the MNSSHP, it was more like a late EMH, and after the second parade at 10:30, the park was very nice. The Christmas ones are a little more crowded, but we still didn't have any problems doing anything. We lucked up last year and the weather was just perfect. We only needed a sweater or jersey at night and the days were so nice. We went the last Friday in Sept and the first Friday in Dec. I don't think that would make a difference unless they change the sold-out numbers by expected crowds.
Those are some of my favorite nights in the park. Don't miss it because you think it might be crowded. It is so worth every penny and any crowds if there are any.

If you're going on the 25th of October it may sell out the closer it gets to the party. We went to two parties last year and they both sold out the day of the party and that was in September. It was packed too and it didn't seem like they only sold a "limited" amount of tickets. I know that's what they say but their "limited" must be almost to capacity. LOL! Last year was awful as far as it being CrAzY busy. Of course though, it was late September and I wonder if it was because last year was the 40th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom and it was so close to October 1st. I guess that could've had something to do with the CrAzY crowds. But who knows for sure, it seems like every year we go it just gets busier and busier. MNSSHP is so much fun though and worth every penny in my opinion! :D

Our night was good, even sold out. It may have been because of the 40th. that your night was so crowded.
I am thinking they raise their sold-out number when they need to because of resort guests who have tickets.

We love it so much that we are actually going twice during our trip - 9/18 and 9/21. We have found that Tuesday parties are usually less crowded than the weekend parties. We love that we can walk on some of the more difficult to get on rides i.e) Pan and Splash. Your kids will love the trick or treat spots and the dance party at the Diamond Horseshoe is a lot of fun. I really hope you and your family have a great time.

You don't turn them in - they are hard tickets. You use them to get in and there are loads of cast members around to put wrist bands on you. Good call buying them now! It does sell out and you get the discount for paying early.

I always buy mine the day before or same-day. I try to go on AP discount nights, but the weather doesn't always cooperate there, lol. I don't want to be there if it is cold and raining hard and I don't want to miss the headless horseman or castle show because those are two of my favorite things.

But i totally understand being worried that it will sell out and you'll miss it completely. I used to buy early, too. That's actually how I found out about how much I don't want to be there when the weather sucks, lol. :)

It's a hard decision to make and one we all must make for ourselves.

I think MNSSHP is one of the best things Disney does, but it could use a little more decorating and another show/event.

Good call on ordering them early. The times that we have been for the MNNSHP and the MVMCP, they have been sold out, and not very crowded at all. I would hate for you to miss out with all of the planning that you have already done.

Also, I think that you are going the right direction having them mailed, not printing them. They are hard tickets with characters on them and Halloween themed, but there are several pics and styles. They are not all the same. The NSSHP and the MVMCP tickets are very cool to have for scrap-booking and keepsakes. We still have all of ours... and even all of our Keys To The Kingdom cards from all of our trips. We are nerds like that.
