We need time for things to happen.
That flavor combination sounds delicious

HOWEVER: I have a huge problem with foods looking like or being disguised as other foods!!

I saw this recipe once for making this "sweet" nachos dish where it looked like a savory awesome nachos with cheese, olives and tomatoes, but it really was like butterscotch and licorice and cinnamon chips and juju bees...etc...

The whole time I was looking at the recipe I was thinking if I dug into those at some party I would be ed!!
why would some chef would want to mind eff me like that!!!??? ;)

Your eyes are part of the whole eating process that's why foods are plated a certain way.
I see this thing I'm thinking...hot fudge some cold ice cream...Then...yahhhgh!! taters, salty barbecued porked!!

So I guess my long answer would be "no" i would not eat this.

Yeah, I would totally eat that. I don't think it looks like a real sundae anyway because all that meaty goodness shines through!

Absolutely! I just had a pot roast sundae at the fair, and it was a lot like that one. Pot roast on the bottom, scoops of mashed potato on top, drizzled with gravy, sprinkled with corn, topped with a cherry tomato. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever eaten- going back this weekend for Round 2!

Most definitely---YES! I do something very similar with our turkey leftovers! And the pp's pot roast sundae sounds amazing! My only fear here is the BBQ sauce...it would have to be the right sauce...otherwise, I'd want some sauce options.

We've done a smaller version at some of our company parties. It's a martini mashed potato bar. It's served more as a nice appetizer for the cocktail hour. The options ranged from meatloaf to caviar and smoked salmon. It was soooo awesome. :)
